Well you all liked my other one and I need the help so here we go, democratically elected guard regiment development. I need backgrounds for my Officers the most. I have the old female commissar and a Catachan with a sword and ultra short lasgun (counts as a las pistol) put together so far.
Name: Kastalmer 14th post destruction regiment.
Doctrines: Death world veterans, ruins variant.
Color scheam: Grey city cammo.
Regiment History: Recruited 40 years ago.
Home-world notes: Kastelmers global hive city was destroyed by a nuclear bombardment 200 years ago.
Before 'The Disaster' (as the populous calls it) Kastelmer was covered by an ocean of effluent pumped out by its hive cities. The planets chief export was the power-packs for imperial lasguns. The processes used produced only liquid toxic wastes and these were pumped directly out of the hives creating a planet wide toxic sea separating hundreds of thousands of narrow hive towers. The sea bubbled and boiled where streams of bases and acids met and an entire portion of the population made its living harvesting the useful results before they could sink into the sludge and be lost. From space the planet looked like a huge dark porcupine rolled into a ball with thin lines running in geometric patterns over the surface along the paths of the sky bridges.
four greater hive cities at the equator supported a orbital docking ring from which goods were imported and exported.
When the nuclear weapons toppled the hives the ruins filled in the shallow sump ocean producing a vast field of poison coated ruble. In this dangerous environment the survivors have become adept at scavenging from the ruins and rebuilding damaged machines. The expert people known as 'Techmen' are valued additions to any tribe.
The culture of the planet has reverted to a tribal state, with each tribe part of one of the 12 great clans. Some 125 million people live on the ruins of their ancestors homes. Only three areas have things that could be considered cities by imperial standards. both poles and a construct rebuilt from one of the Equatorial hive cities. All are tiny holding no more than a couple million inhabitants.
A chaos lords attempt to invade the planet, the bombardment caused Tectonic instability that means it will be thousands of years before the hives can be rebuilt.
Since the disaster 5 battalions of expert ruins fighters have been recruited from the population. These 'post destruction regiments' are fast becoming the equivalent of Catachan jungle fighters for wars conducted in ruined cities.

Important but occ point, i have been thinking about having my forces sentinels have multi lasers instead of flamers, this is technically not allowed but I would increase the cost accordingly and it fits their fluff better. (modified welding lasers) Would you all allow the change were I to theoretically play you? The answers I get will effect the way I make the models so please respond.
I would play you. Because the doctrine really does not give you nay major advantages. But what about the 6+ save you would recieve it would suck.
Meh, the amount of cover saves you get in cityfight more than makes up for it.
