does anyone know of any fluff re: Independent Chaos Daemons?
Do you mean daemons that do not serve a particular chaos god? Daemons of chaos undivided?
I would love to see some rules for greater undivided.
There are no Greater Dæmons that we know of that serve Chaos Undivided. The only ones available are Furies, and they're Dæmonic Beasts.
The closest thing to Undivided Greater Daemons that I know of are the ones presented in the Adversary rules in the Daemonhunters codex. The Greater Daemon there is a generic one, unaligned to any specific god. If you have C:CSM, you can field a specific GD while still using those Adversary rules (ie, Bloodthirster w/ Tau!), but the one presented in CH is fairly generic.
Independent Greater Daemons, though, I've never heard of. Daemons are creatures of the Warp, created by a specific Ruinous Power (as far as I know), and can't exactly just wander away and set up their own shop.
Well, there were certinly warp entities before the 4 ruinous powers, while they might not technically be deamons, I don't see any reason why an unaliagend warp entity couldn't exist, and seem like a deamon to the power benighted minds of men.
there are plenty of unallied Daemons i was just wondered if anyone knew any good fluff references
ie from Waargh the Orks
CHAOS RENEGADE ORK WARBAND
This is a Renegade Warband led by an Ork Champion of Chaos. He may have started as a Khorne-worshipping Stormboy or a Freebooter who fell in with the wrong company long ago, but now he is well on his way along the Chaos Path. He has succeeded as a warrior beyond the wildest dreams of most Orks and has gathered his own Warband of followers about him.
Most Warbosses ask few questions about the origins of the Freebooterz that they employ, and a Chaos Warband is likely to be taken at face value as a very exceptional and dangerous unit which would be very useful to the tribe in battle. In fact most Warbosses couldn't care less about the Champion's allegiance to Chaos, since they can trust in the abilities of their own Weirdboyz to dispel any nasty manifestations. Orks generally regard such deviants with suspicion and ridicule, much as they do anything which is not thoroughly and properly Orky. However, a few may actually admire a Chaos Champion with impressive rewards such as horn mutations, iron hard skin, and so forth. Weirdboyz and Painboyz in the tribe are likely to be quite fascinated by the spectacle presented by the Champion and his Warband. The majority of Ork Champions are Champions of Khorne, but a few are attracted to other Powers, such as Nurgle, or independent daemons who were once Ork Champions themselves.

If you read the fluff books from the Black Library, namely the Eisenhorn trilogy, there are demons of incredible power that are not loyal to one of the Chaos powers. They are independent daemons most likely created eons ago and did not take on specific traits like the new daemons. They are also, it seems, much more powerful than any other demons because in the book one of the daemons, alone, took out a Chaos Titan. They also seem to be much more intelligent and cunning than other daemons, namely that they manipulate to increase their power rather than fulfill the wishes of a master.
I shall destroy all who stand in my way. The Emperor shall be reborn in me, the Primarchs shall be remade in me. I shall cast down the Dark Gods, the Star Gods shall be consumed just as they consumed their brothers. Those who fell shall be redeemed, those who remained pure shall be rewarded. The Imperium shall regain its power and the Dark Age of Technology will seem like nothing. For I am the Numen and I am coming
