Has GW forgotten about the illuminati? For those who dont know what the illuminati are, they are humans who have been possesed daemons and lived. they are now sworn to defeating chaos. the fluff of theirs was really cool in my opinion and i wish GW would mention them again. also the thought of using one in a game would be very interesting. what rules would you use? An inquisitor's? any thoughts you guys have would be appreciated.

anyway for these guys I'd simply use the stationed psyker profile (i mean demonic possession must be hard on a guy) but give him demonhunter psychic powers.

I thought the Illuminati where the ones who where trying to find the Star Child and bring back the Emperor and all that. I could be confusing that with something else though, it's been a long time since I've actualy read the fluff. Whatever thry did though, the Inquisition supposedly hunted them down and eradicated them. According to the =][= the Illuminati where a Tzentch Cult. Never know though, when you have shadey groups like the Illuminati and the Inquisition you can't really be sure of anything.To answer your question more directly though yes, GW has abandoned that paticular bit of fluff.

Tintin Rocks but back on topic, I think a sanctioned pyskers profile is a good choice. Thanks for the input.

You are correct Edicius, it's the Star Child fluff as put forth in the Inquistion War Trilogy, Draco, Harlequin, and Chaos Child.

If I rember correctly, GW did away with the Illuminati and the Sensei not to long ago by saying that they were Tzeentchian cluts and were eradicated by the Inquisition. So there's no longer a Star Child cult and no longer a group of heretics claiming to be the offspring of the Emperor.
