Doesnt Khaine (God of murder) of the eldar have a sortof link to Khorne (God of blood)
Firstly, welcome to Librarium Online, I hope you enjoy it here. ^_^
Secondly, the word is deceived.
Lastly, I think you may've posted in the wrong forum. This is the Warhammer Fantasy Battles Army Fluff forum. You seem to posted a Warhammer 40,000 related issue, which should've been posted here.
Could you use the same issue for WH elves?
The link between Khaine and Khorne is not as simple as the Blood God trying to trick people.
Khorne is effectively the ultimate God of War, every sentient being who kills another in an act of agression is giving power to Khorne.
Anyway- Gods in 40k are more ideals than actual individuals there is overlap between Khorne and Khaine but its not as simple as Khorne hiding behind a mask.
In fantasy, the link is definately there.
In 40k, no.. If nothing else, Khaine was destroyed by Slannesh. He wasn't Khorne.
I'm pretty sure Khaine was a real warp entity, there are accounts of him fighting the nightbringer (which must have taken place physically, in the real universe, if it happened.) However, the warp is a realm where ideas can be pretty powerful, so I'd be inclined second Nightshade's idea of a possible overlap.
