Hey all! Im sorry if this post is in the wrong place, but i didnt know where to put it. anyways. i was reading through my fluff bible last night and i saw something about beastmen. it said that beastmen infest a lot of the worlds in the imperium. then when i thought about it, i remembered seeing a bunch of beastman models for epic 40k. so my question is, are there rules for beastmen in current chaos armies, or did they die out?
I haven't got the codex on me but if I remember rightly the khorne/undivided mutants have the hooved upgrade. Sounds like beastmen right? For other unit types just use a bit of imagination such as minotaurs for big mutants, dragon ogre shaggoth for daemon prince, etc. Hope that clears things up for you.
Well being as a goats head (not hooved) is a valid mutation for them i think it's what the Workshop intends, makes sense to me.
I still hate Twiglets!
Any of the mutations from LatD could probably be used to represent Beastmen. Then you have the "packmasters", the Chaos Space Marines who are their allies and lead them around, order them to do their bidding, etc.
