Yes you can, all preheresy stuff is useable. Your army must have been caught in the warp for 10000 years is all.

They don't necessarily have to be caught in the warp to be pre-heresy, you could merely say they are pre -heresy and just play games as though they were before The Horus heresy. you could use basic marine rules for say, thousand sons before they were turned to dust.

Because the technology has changed so little in 10000 years, it is not only possible to play a pre-heresy game, but it would hardly be a difference! If anything, you could probably come up with cool things that have been lost since then. Browse through any of the Index Astartes to find pre-heresy color schemes and if you want to be finiky, im sure you could find old space marine models with the older fashioned bolt-guns. As for imperial guard, orks, cult armies, eldar they would look exactly the same. I suppose you couldn't field land raiders or land speeders and the phoenix lords would be more powerful and not as many aspect warriors aspect warriors

A friend of mine created pre-heresy sholuder pads with glue gun. He add the studs on the shoulder pads with drips of glue, they look really cool

Where would the fun of the fluff be if he played them from pre-heresy era unless he write the whole stuff himself.

The idea of the ten thousand year warp sounds good....hehehehe.

The Commander ends up in the presence of the Emperor and becomes the new Chapter Master of the Death Guard.

They would have alot of enemies from the Traitor Death Guard. You could say that they have the same attitude to the Traitors as the Dark Angels towrds the Fallen.

Whooaaa that should be fun

I read somewhere that they're planning on releasing products during the start of the Imperium.

    Anyone know more about this?
