Hey i have a Chaos space marine army (Warband more like) and i have always liked the newer fallen space marines and i have just found a Normal Space marine body and i cant decide between a fallen angel or a fallen space wolf, they both have sopme advantages(mostly fluff and appearance wise) but some rules changes as well so i was wondering what your peoples oppinions are?

Use both. I did. I have two Fallen in my Chaos army (both wielding Plasma Pistols) and a few Space Wolf 13th Company marines, including a former 13th Co. Wolf Lord as my Choas Lieutenant. Fallen should be a little rarer because they were scattered far and wide after the destruction of Caliban.

Personally i hate chaos! And i think there should be no fallen because space marines are too hard to crack and get converted to chaos...

Grandmaster Adek is correct.
Anymore unhelpful most Master Of The Deathwing, and the rep hammer'll come out.
I wouldn't change the rules. Use Chaos Gifts and so on to simulate them. And an army of Fallen, as has been said, will be difficult to imagine. The Wulfen offer a lot of opportunities for corruption, though, I like the idea of drunken dogs gone bad...Originally Posted by BrigandErm... a little event called the Horus Heresy slipped your mind? But I personally wouldn't go Red Corsair if you're planning to stay purely CSM. Yes, they recruit from any chapter that will join them (in a very cool but not too Chaosy way), but I always thought they were backed up heavily by human pirates too, and so would be more at home in a LatD list.
Loyalist Marines turned to the Red Corsairs aren’t the only ones to put red Xs over their Chapter icons; I believe this is a practise common among rogue and renegade Marines of all kind, which is a good thing because it does indeed look very nice. Which makes me wonder what loyalist Marines turned traitors do with their armour; do they remove their Chapter insignia entirely and replace them with another Legion’s? Or do they only add Chaos symbols and leave the rest? I’m not actually sure if there’s a common practise in this regard, does anyone know?Originally Posted by Deadly Nightshade
As for whether to choose a Fallen Angel or a Fallen Space Wolf, I agree that both could make a neat model. I probably wouldn’t choose 13th Company, though, because it’d take a lot of conversion to make the Marine look Wulfen enough. Perhaps an ordinary Space Wolf or even a Wolf Brother might be easier to make. Personally, I think I’d make a Wolf Brother, because they’re very rarely seen these days. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in a game, in fact.

Make both, and use some Wulfen as possesd marines with Demonic Talons.
Yeah, but you'd need to have some 'original' astral claws, I think, in order to make it look like a red corsair army.Originally Posted by Deadly Nightshade
Then again, their new colour scheme rocks.. black and red.
Not really. I'm no 13th Co. expert, but there are non-Wulfen members of the 13th Co. I used a 13th Co box that were merely Grey Slayers. The box is perfect for Chaos space wolves becuase it already has Chaos bitz in it! And non-wolf chaos marines, too. Those heads can look possessed if you accent the fangs (vampires?) and paint the face a pale grey, and put a flesh wash over their hair to make it look slimy, greasy and dirty.Originally Posted by Grephaun
