Ok, so when you kill him, you turn into him and your soul gets trapped into his armor. But what if you don't kill him directly?
Say, if you trapped him in a box and fired it into a sun. Would you turn in to him? Would he die for real? Would the only feasible way to deal with him be trapping him for a few billion years?
I think you still turn into him for any of those however there is an inquisitorial Purging process which is used to totally cleanse daemons so they don't come back (usually used on D. princes to prevent them returning to the eye of terror when they die!)Originally Posted by Terzo

When did I realise I was God?
Well one day I was praying and I realised...
I was talking to myself!
Primarch Of The Iron Clan
How do you destroy a daemon? anyway, probably you turn into him because probably he passes through the warp to "possess" you like a daemon.
I shall destroy all who stand in my way. The Emperor shall be reborn in me, the Primarchs shall be remade in me. I shall cast down the Dark Gods, the Star Gods shall be consumed just as they consumed their brothers. Those who fell shall be redeemed, those who remained pure shall be rewarded. The Imperium shall regain its power and the Dark Age of Technology will seem like nothing. For I am the Numen and I am coming
Ok. Lucius becomes when you take pleasure from destroying him. I'm pretty sure most people who kill him do (having just destroyed a Chaos Champion), so he becomes them. I'm pretty sure its as simple as that. So if you felt joy at firing him into the Sun, you would become him, if he died (if you were responsible for this being done of course.).
Trap him for a few billion years eh? That might work... if you can trap him. Anyways, you'd probly have to kill him to to it. And you know what that means... :shifty:Wrong! Deamons don't die, they are banished back to the warp for about 1000 years or so. Banish a Deamon Prince(if you can)? He'll be back into the Eye in a few (thousand) years. Its worth it, but it does not destroy him. Merely gets him out of the =][= hair for a while.I think you still turn into him for any of those however there is an inquisitorial Purging process which is used to totally cleanse daemons so they don't come back (usually used on D. princes to prevent them returning to the eye of terror when they die!)
What if some random-AI point defence system that wasnt intended to kill him, killed him?
Or suppose his killer fired him into a star, and then fired himself into a star several moments lter? What would happen then?
This has been covered before. The old thread is http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ad.php?t=30162 (Lucius Problem) It has a slightly different emphasis, but the conclusion in the end was that Slaanesh wanted Lucius to live, and so he does. End of story, regardless of complications.
