The Sons of Malice are mentioned in Codex Eye of Terror...

The Sons of Malice turned to chaos sometime prior to the 13th Black Crusade. The Chapter was founded to watch over the Eye of Terror, but became corrupted and fled into the massive warpstorm when an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus unveiled their heresy.

Their homeworld was Scelus, in the Cadian Sector, although it was declared Perdita when the Chapter turned on the Imperium.

I went back and reread codex eye of terror and all I found in reference to the sons of malice was on page sixteen listed under the forces of abaddon the spoiler. Although this is more of a lead than i had before.......

    Thanks.

Does anyone know of any other tidbits of sons of malice fluff that would be helpful?

    thanks again..

The Rogue Sons Article in white dwarf has quite a lot.. Since my small white dwarf collection is absent, I can't give you an issue number, but it is in there.

It's interesting to note that most marine chapters are cannibalistic to some extent anyway. However, the Sons of Malice are indiscriminately so. They also use cannibalism as a devotional ritual, hence the inquisitor's problem with them.

    sounds crazy to me!
Excuse me, I've known some very reasonable canibals who might take offence at that.

Anyway, an entire Chapter of nutcases wouldn't work, they would not be able to travel, or maintain their gear, or face the right way in battle. Maybe they go slightly unhinged during their rituals, but I believe this works like the World Eaters, in that they are not foaming at the mouth all the time.

Indeed, their cannibalism had become part of their chapter rituals. Hence the Inquisitors thought it was time to bring down some cleansing flame.

Sorry about my incorrect reference, I didn't mean the EOT codex, the sons of Malice is in UK WD 303. Hope that helps.

why can´t a chapter that is crazy maintain there wargear. I would say that they only go crazy when they have an opportunitie to kill some imperial loyalists and have a party after the slaughter
    Don´t mess with the dicegod

Right, that's what I said. If they were crazy the whole tme, they would not be able to function, so it's just a ritualistic thing.

As already mentioned many Space Marines are cannibals, one of their implants allows the recolection of a creature's memory by consuming part of it. So they're cannibals by design!

Evidence that the lack of morality (by our standards) in the Imperium is far from being a recent thing.

they only eat a bit of there enemy and this is only when they don´t know anything of there enemy yet. but if they eat there enemies the whole time it would be cannabalism in an other form than the space marines are now.

Eating members of your own species is considered canibalism it's not a matter of frequence or how much you enjoy it.

Oh god we're gonna hit pure innuendo at this rate
