Ok I was in the military, and we used to cuss like every 3rd word, it was totally natural. I assume that soldiers in the 40k universe must be no different.. I just need some actual 40k cuss words. anyone want to help out?
Obliviously the curse words vary on a planet-by-planet basis, but things relating to the Emperor or saints usually do the trick. e.g "Emperor's Blood!" "Emperor's Toenails!" "Saint Sabbat's Spatula!"
Of course, these aren't really teh swears. The only one I know (and possibly the most famous/most used by fluff n00bs) is the Tanith cuss-word "Feth". "Sacred", "Holy", etc can be used as a prefix.
I know they use some of our cuss words. In the gaunt's ghost series they would always say feth.
I have seen the Death Company: wild-eyed berserkers, who tear their enemys limb from limb, crush skulls with a single blow, snap spines and rip out organs. The Blood Angels are indeed ancient and terrible and only the foolish do not fear them.
Ahh Yes Feth, the Tanith Tree God. Frequently used by the Gaunts Ghosts. I liked in the second Gaunts Ghost Book that the inquiitor Lilith mistakes it's meaning for another swear word that describes this action, :hump:
Using other sifi (particular 2000AD) swear words could work as well, Drokk, Sneck, Grudd. Or alternativly just make some up, or just use actual swear words.
"God is dead" Nietzsche- 1886
"Nietzsche is dead" God- 1900
Why are there scams? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q71FLDIMBc8
Frag, Gak, Feth, (<< and all other forms of these words ex. gakking, gaked, go gak yourself, etc.) Arse, and for very colorful phrases read some of the Space Wolf series and pay most of you attention to Sven. You would hear something like: "By the emperor's holy left testicle!"
The orks call things bloomin' gits

LO Musicians clan.
I seem to remember in Ghostmaker "kec" being another alternative to feth, although Feth does have some other connotations (hence "Sacred Feth", a reference to the actual god). I seem to remember "Throne of Earth" being a large one. Not necessarily a swearword in itself, but more like "Throne of Earth, that's huge!" or something similar. Or just "by the throne" or something like it.
Not sure about other ones.
We seem to be gleaning things from the 40k novels here, but surely they've been toned down somewhat. Since the marines and guard etc. speak in English, which, even if we count 40k as a possible future of a unified world, would be so different as to not recognisable. The novels would, presumerably, have to be suitable for all the ten year olds which despoil our game (I mean, the ones who reach twelve and decide they're too old) so the guards would use the usual set of profanities, in the 'actual' 40k world. Specially words which refer to things in the world itself - synonyms for excrement, or comments about the marital status of one's parents.
Generally, though, if take the idea of 'blaspheming' as swearing they would cuss over things holy to them - the Empora, Terra, etc.
Hell bent on twisting the rules of Inquisitor to my dark desires.Mod Edit -
Ignore this person. What a waste of perfectly good oxygen. There are kids in Antartica or China or Korea or some other country that would kill for the oxygen you are wasting with each passing minute.
