Has anyone ever heard of an Imperial ship called the Eternal Vigilance? I was reading the mutie background in Digganob, and their ship was originally called "Eter Vigila", from what the muties could tell. It doesn't take many braincells to work out that Eternal Vigilance was the original name, and I'm sure I've heard mention of it somewhere in the fluff before.
I know what you mean, its like a splinter in the mind. I think I've seen it either in the fluff for the Damocles Gulf crusade, or the old 3rd edition IG codex on the inside back cover.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
"It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt." -- John Philpot Curran
Sorry just like that quote.
Wasn't the Eternal Vigilance one of Solar Marchurius' fleet? My friends has all his old 2nd and 3rd edition IG codexes so ill look in those for you next time i get my hands on them.
Maybe it was one of the ships the Imperial Fists gave to the BT when they split up into chapters (as if I am correct Sigismund was the first BT chapter master).
Maybe their fleet flagship?
There is some thing close to it that i found in my BT codex, the High Marshal's, Personal Battle Barge is the Eternal Crusader.
But theeternal vigilance does sound fiilmiar.

Just checked the IA entries for IF's and BT's and didn't find anything.
