Were there Iquisitors in the empire directly after the heresy, but before the second founding? I need to know, in order to finish my armys fluff. If they didnt exist, then what would I call a Imperialist of that era with a high office, deep pockets, and a lot of influence. Also whem Sanguinius got killed, how was the Blood Angels chapter commanded, was it by a leader(if you got a name, GREAT), or was it as a council of commanders.
Off of the subject above, is this right.
If there were 10,000 marine in each legion at the beginning of the heresy, then they got killed off. So at the second founding ( we will take BA for example), they created one BA chapter, and six successors. So if 10,000 orginally existed, then did 3,000 Blood angels die during the Heresy?
I believe the 10,000 were estimates weren't they?
Some estimate the Ultramines Legion was about 500,000 before the heresy.
500,000 SMurfs all just "happened" to be fighting down south (while all the fighting was up north closer to the eye) and missed the horus heresy. 500,000 marines! I say the Inquisitors burn Maccrage and Guilliman with it for being tainted.
I always thought the Dark Angels were the biggest followed by the Imperial Fists.
As for your original question I have no idea, the Inquisition didn't exist back then because the emperor didn't approve of that kind of thing. Also there were no traitors to be hunted down.
I don't know what the leaders of the ecclessiarchy were called.
