two Qu.s which only GW can answer
1)so at which point did we learn to maintain our own vehicles?Grey knight grease monkeys?
2)how do we care for our wounded or sick?
since we have no apoth.s i guess we just let them die?
i know the games developers were just trying to do us in.but it doesnt make a terrible amount of sense.
Im pretty sure they do exist, but they just dont appear in the game:yes:
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
Moved to 40k Fluff Forum - you'll get better answers.
1)You don't, you have AM/are skilled Mechanics. You can banish deamons, you can fix the car, dammit!
2)Grey knights don't get sick, and they don't get wounded. They live and fight, or they die while fighting. Thats how I see it. I'm sure they have some kind of medical facility/purgatory area to cleanse themselves.
2b) Apothecaries? GK aren't a normal SM Chapter (no LS, Bikes, Assault Marines etc.) So this probabley explains it.
1. Yoss has it.. Who needs some loser marine who took a course in vehicle maintenance. The Inquisition can requesition the finest technical minds in the Adeptus Mechanicus to look after Grey Knight vehicles.
2. Same thing.. You want the best Hospitallier medics? You've got them. You want ancient relic medical technology? You got it. You want brilliant bionics artificers? It's no problem. The Inquisition gets what it wants.
Since the grey knights generally favour fast, objective based strikes with a specific purpose, rather than all out war, they probably don't need the same degree of battlefield support. There just wouldn't be time to fix vehicles in the context of an average grey knight mission timetable.

well, if the GK's do the whole "lightning raid and surgical strike" thing, then why don't we have jump packs?
i mean come on, teleport in, and if things look too sticky, jmup out.
bikes would be nice too. grey knights are knights after all, and i do think they need steeds. Without them the name ninja would fit them better (sneak attacks, lightning raids, assasinations, ect.)
Grey Ninja lol
But its the inquisition they can get what ever they need.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
Are you those people?

The GK are the most freaky monster Marines out there. They probably would kill anybody trying to stick anything in them (Apoth), & the vehicles don't matter, they'll just take that Land Raider over there when they want (Tech).
That, or GW forgot...
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
Heehehehehe...another X-files fan.
But like it has been mentioned Grey knights are an Inquisition force, so all their needs are seen to by more general imperial practioners, wheras SM chapters need to keep their own techs and medics as they are a separate body from the Imperium.
