Since Grey Knights are the elite Space Marines, does anyone ever wonder why they didn't get a T5 from passing the 666 tests they needed go though to become a Grey Knight?
Its more of a mental challenge so in return for passing the tests they become fearless.

The fluff posed by the Grey Knights and their initiation rites would seem to suggest a vast physical superiority to 'normal' Space marines....however, making them T5 would just be overpowering them in games terms.....
I DO think, however, that the GM himself should have maybe toughness 5 or at least an item in his arsenal that does the same as an adamantium mantle.....
it just annoys me that this Grandmaster, the most elite fighter out of a group of the most elite fighters in the known galaxy can be taken down by a single lascannon shot and he doesnt even have an item to prevent it!!
Besides his inv save.
Though unnumbered lurking perils await us, our blades will ever be ready.

I thinkt that fluffwise the space marines from the movies list in WD 300 are very good when paired up against orks and the lost and the damned. Very much like the fluff.
However, the only beef i have with the deamon hunters list is the storm troopers. I know they are descent but i would like to see the hell gun be assault instead of rapid fire i mean the only thing better is an ap value. But they really dont need the work cause it would make them more expensive.
But all in all i am really impressed with the DH list. I mean the psychic powers are pretty cool the inquistors can be what ever you want. And assassins. How could u ask for more. Not to mention the grey knights.

The thing people seem to forget about is that 40k is only a skirmish level game. You dont have alot of things that a normal army would have such as God-Titans, heavy artilliary support ( much more so then a single or maybe 2 earthshakers in a IG army) you would have hundreds of men and so forth...
It seems to me that most people forget about the 'spirit' of 40k and just want to make the best most uber-killing army that they can. Thats not the point of 40k the point is to have fun and I do understanding getting thrashed everygame isnt fun... but if you are it might not be your army list.. it might be the General behind the army:shifty:
To me 40k is about creating a army that almost no one else has ( Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarri force in my case) making some killer fluff for it , converting it so that people go " Yep that is Mike's army no doubt about it " and just having some fun with it...
So thats my opinion on it
FluffMaster on a mission to turn people to the Sisters of battle, yes folks it's all about SoB squads in Repressors with lots of flamer templates for the win.
