Default Iron Hands involvement in the Medusa Campaign

Is it me or is their a clear lack of GW reported activity about the Iron Hands involvement in the Medusa Campaign?

Well, the Iron hands aren't a terribly popular chapter choice. In fact, fluff based Iron hands armies really suck under 4th edition armour rules.

It's wierd though.. is Medusa IV actually in the same system as the Iron Hands homeworld. If so, you'd expect them to be there kicking ass.

That's what makes it so strange.

Plot Hole!

Unless of course it is something more sinister.

Umm, no its not the same system, origionally tho a company of Iron Hands helped pacify the reagion tho, altho after they did Medusa IV and started on Medusa V they where called away... but the system was named in there honour ..... and yes honour is spelt with a U :shifty:  :shifty: .... anyways thats whats in the little bookie I got from GW....

O MY GOD THEY ARE WORKING WITH THE NECRONS!!!!!!!!!!!

lol i was just joking. I mean the primarch supposedly killed a ctan before becoming a space marine. Yeah like i believe that he drowned it in molten lava ok.

Anyway to answer your question. Iron hands arent a popular chapter. yes they look really good when u make all the conversions, but with out the expensive conversions they really dont look that good. Also of course guess who is in control of all the space marines or what ever. An Ultramarine captain that the just pulled out of nowhere.

Why couldn't it be like a salamanders guy or another "authentic" chapter like the Iron hands that gets a litte spotlite attention.

But i hear ya a deffinet plot hole. Why cant they just check the fluff before they do stuff. :realmad:

Ya know, I used to like the smurfs.... was my first 40 army.... but damn, is it just me or are they like totally over doing the smurfs in the fluff. I know that the smurfs are like the 'star' chapter and the 'normal' one, and they like to pump spacemarines, but come on. There are a 1000 chapters out there, why do the smurfs have to save the day all the time? I mean they make some MR. T clone pulled outta thin air jerk to lead the 'world wide' campain. Come on GW are you guys that lazy these days...when I first saw him I wanted to paint him black and make his banner say "I pity the foo" ( anyone who has seen the A-Team will know what im talking about :shifty: ) And I am sorry for hijacking the thread here....but come on. How about another chapter 'saving' the day. God even the Dark Angels would of been better, could of tossed in the whole hunt the fallen thing in there somewhere. How about the BloodAngels saying that Mesph reverted to the bloodrage while on the planet, he just lost control and had it to do something with the Necrons or Chaos doing there spell. God even the Iron Hands could of 'came back' to finish the job they started all those years ago. And those are just off the top of my head. And there better then some Smurf comming out of no where to kick ass again..... GAWDSSSSS ok ok rant over..... but damn there talking about bringing Eldran back....do these campaigns even mean anything if there just going to ignore fluff in order to sell more figs, and do what they want to do? kinda sounds like God-Modding to me ... sighs... even the BT's ( and I cant stand them honestly) would of been better then another Smurf comming outta the wood work... I just hope Papa Smurf never wakes up.... ok ok Rant really over now, sorry Mods but I think this had to be said....

Geographically it doesn't make sense either as Medusa is on the other side of the Galaxy.

does anything GW these days make sence -coughspriceincreasescoughs-:shifty:

And for a poster a bit back there , if your talking about Ferrus..... in the olderfluff like the Iron hands books hes supposed to be resting some place... but I thought that in the newer fluff the HH books hes supposed to be killed at the Isstvan drop site massicar ( spelling blah) and isnt fulgrum supposed to take his head to Horus to prove his loyality to him ?? thought I heard that somewhere...might just be more rumors - shrugs- :shifty:  :shifty:

I agree, however, GW would argue that inaccuracies about the demise of Ferrus are a result of insubstantial evidence and rumour.
