I mean this in like a real lif situation.
Necrons never loss a fight even if they phase out. their just goin back to get repaired to join the fight and they cant be killed cause they are already dead.
Am i right about this.
The only thing that keeps the Necrons a raiding force and not a full-on force of galactic destruction is numbers. Not enough Necrons have awoken from their stasis crypts...yet.
Like anything, Necrons can be destroyed, but it's still very, very difficult.

yes it would be hard, but melta-weapons come to mind...

I wish mine were difficult to destroy, they always put up a good fight but innevitably lose
ok ok sorry i was just saying that the amount of necrons their are and if they did all wake up i dont think they could be stopped because they would pop up in so many worlds so quickly that the imperium would be torn to pieces.
i figur i was wrong in saying that the cant be destroyed but even if they did phase out they would come back i would be pretty sure that necrons could fix some of their damaged buddys.
Well, they can be destroyed, firstly you can destroy their statis tomb, this stops them from being able to phase out and thus you could completely irradicate their bodies (but i guess there bodies could still kinda come back together even in moltent form but they would need a tomb spider). Wipe out all the tomb spiders, when necrons are so badly damaged they have to go back to their tomb world then they need tomb spiders to fix em. Lastly, catch one in a stasis field can't run away again, well i guess it's not dead, but close enough.... (hmm all the imperium need is a giant stasis field around the tomb world, then all they need to do is kill the necrons, they can't phase out because the teleporter is in stasis......)
Unless the imperium launched a simultaneous attack on every planet that had necrons, leaving them no way to phase out or come back to life, they simply cant be destroyed completely. All it takes is one tomb spider to survive and slowly rebuild the entire race bit by bit. Or a lord to use a res orb. Or a tiny planet off in the middle of know where to be forgotten about etc etc. Im sure you get the idea. It's either all at once, or not at all
Simply because the C'tan don't want them to, if the necrons take over the galaxy then they will have destroyed all of the organic life the C'tan feed off of and they would die off because of that. It was the exact same reason why the C'tan had the necrons go into stasis in the first place all those millions of years ago...Originally Posted by Lost Nemesis

If a planet is discovered to have a necron tomb on it, then the majority of the plant's inhabitants will be evacuated. Then they call the inquisitors and then they blow the planet up. Simple, but effective..That's the imperials anyway... I'm not sure if any of you have read the novel caves of ice you should message me privately if u have...
Orks would probably keep fighting them for a laff
Strangely , nids always keep away from necron planets... Strange...
