Interested in making your own Index Astartes articles? I’m looking to team-up with people and create either an Index Astartes website or unofficial fluff book. I can draw the images. Is there anyone willing to help with the background info? I’m thinking about including as many DIY and GW Chapters as possible :w00t: Massive apology to those of you from the "Help With Your Chapter Colour Scheme" thread that I left hanging. intersting idea, now....is this going to include all the 'known' chapters...or is this just homemade chapters ...I would be more then willing to scower all my old GW books and find obscure chapters and so forth....pm me or post a responce here Garro....btw, awsome name I loved him in the eisenstine fluff:shifty: ( can't wait for the book......)

I'll certainly help you out with background info. I'm fairly familiar with the writing style and format of the Index Astartes articles and it could be a really fun project. Just PM me with more details.

I'm intersted. Not sure how much help I could be though. I've been working on some DIY chapter fluff, but its not finished yet, and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. But then again, I would probably want to actually recruit my first marines before making the chapter public knowledge, and that's a long, long way off.

Anyway, count me in, I have an EXTENSIVE list of SM chapters that exist already (GW official), and would happily add fluff and my own chapter to the cause! My intention is to include all known official Games Workshop chapters and all of the best unofficial “home-made� chapters (Space Marine chapters created by you, the fans). Games Workshop Chapters First of all I am going to post a list of all of the GW chapters I know of. :book: This is where I need help, if you know of any other chapters please add them along with a reference of the source where you found them. Home-made Chapters If you want to include your own chapter in our listings then you need to send me the following: 1) A picture or detailed description of your chapter symbol. 2) Background information about your chapter including, Chapter Origins (when, where and why they were founded) Information about there base of operations (home world, space fleet, etc) Combat Doctrine (the way they fight and why) Organisation (the way they are organised e.g. Codex Chapter) Beliefs (the personal beliefs or followings of you Marines) Gene-Seed (what legion & Primarch they derive from) Chapter Motto (Their battle-cry or motto) 3) A picture of your miniatures or a diagram of their colour scheme.
