The imperium has an army (IG) with elites (Storm troopers) and "paras" (without actual parchutes), a marine corps (SM) with its scouts (marine recons) and though guys (Terminators). It also has a Navy, but what about an 'air force'? I think GW should create some kind of aircrafts to support the IG and SM. ALso, the IG dosn't have any real scouts (except the Tanith F&Only), but not evry body does these! I think they should create these to, because Stormtroopers arn't really scouts!
They do. Go here. Also GW make a game called Battlefleet Gotic (BFG) that are spaceship battles. Just remember almost all the rules on Forge World are expiremental, or in the Ipirial Armor books. And most tournies dont alwaoy forgw world models. Other races also have an "air force" Hopes this helps.
The Imperial Armies is actually divided into several sections, each one operating independently and with only most high-ranking officers controlling them all.
The Imperial Guard: The largest fighting-force in the galaxy with many billions of men and tanks.
The Imperial Navy: This is the Imperial air- and spaceassets. From battlefleets containing enormous spaceships to the smaller Thunderbolt fighters and Marauder bombers (to name a few).
Space Marine chapters: Each one fights independetly and are not part of the Imperium like other worlds, more part of it due to the ancient oaths swon long ago to seve the Emperor and his greatest commanders.
And you should also consider with such a vast fighting force as the IG, not everything is covered in the rules. They use normal Infantry squads and platoons for recon, just like our current armies and there are entire regiments dedicated to a certain aspect of war.
Thanks a lot to you both I'll remember that.
The Imperial Navy is also responsible for aircraft, since most Imperial aircraft are also used in space battles. The Imperial Guard also have access to gunships and transport craft, which fulfill the role of helecopters in our military today. If you buy forgeworld stuff you can use them in 40k, but it's a bit silly because the average 40k board is so small there's barely room for an aircraft to turn around. They play a much more important role in Epic and battlefleet gothic.
I'd advise against comparing Imperial army sections with their US army equivallents. I don't think space marines are at all comprable to the US marine corps. Originally, before the term became a generic label, a marine was a soldier intended to fight and deploy from a naval ship. Space marines are so called, I'd guess, because they attack by deploying directly from spacecraft in drop pods.

Most of the Imperial "air force" is indeed an arm of the Imperial Navy. One planet (I forget the name but their forces fought in the Sabbat Crusade) has very little usable surface and so the IG on that planet have control over large "air force" assets.
Here is the page on the Black Library website that details this IG regiment and the "air" forces of the Imperium. They also come up in one of the Gaunts Ghosts novels.
Basically an IG scout force is well just that an ig scout force. Um I have read many of the black library books and when scouting missions are needed to be done one of the fireteams gets the shaft and has to go out on patrol. There are no real scouts.
Read FIFTEEN HOURS and you will know why. LOL it is awsome
As far as airforces, yep that is the navy. The space fleets, and all aircraft are a part of the navy which is attached to however many regiments that are assigned to it.
I am sure this was all covered but i condesced it.
