I was wondering in terms of Space Marine troops/vehicles what the carrying capacity of a Thunderhawk Gunship was for fluff purposes.
I think it was about 30 space Marines and 1 Tank. I believe.
In case your curious:
Strike Cruiser: 1 full company
Battle Barge: 3 full companies.
A thunderhawk may carry Terminators, each terminator counting as two models.
A thunderhawk may carry a dreadnought, the dreadnought counts as 5 power armoured space marines.
Athunderhawk may carry a single bike squadron, each bike-mounted space marine counts as 3 power armoured space marines.
A thunderhawk may carry Ataack bikes, each attack bike counts as 4 power armoured space marines
You should still be able to get the rules for the thunderhawk from Forge world quite easily for free, go have a look
But that's the rules, not the fluff.
Although I would expect them to be fairly similar.

Not to mention pilots and mechanics and such, and a cargo hold - you'd need to carry ammunition - and supplies and all that jazz. Use your imagination. Anywhere more than 50 Marines and you're pushing the limits of logic.
For humans, though, who require significantly less transport space than Marines, I'd imagine the number would be larger.
