I am creating a craftworld for more elder army. They are going to follow the teachings of the god Vaul (god of forge). The list is nearly entirely composed of aspect warriors, because they are among the few eldar skilled enough to wield these weapons of perfection. Avatar’s are banned as an HQ choice, because they still hold a grudge against Khaine for being chained to his anvil ages ago. My farseers witchblade is said to be a refordged sword replicating the one Vaul went to war with against Khaine after discovering the single mortal blade. I am having difficulty finding a name for the craftworld. I was hoping for some suggestions or how others came up with their craftworld names. Also any additional fluff that would add to my craftworlds story, would be great.
Sounds to me like you have a pretty cool concept going there. I like the Vaul themed Army. As for the name of the craftworld, Since Vaul was a smith it should definatly be something sword or forge related, Personally, I like "SwordHearts" or maybe "Vaul's Hammer", although the latter sounds more like a squad's name. Im sure you'll come up with something. Can't wait to hear more.

It's unlikely, since Vaul died a rather bloody and horrible death and the Eldar race have been relying on Khaine for their survival for much of ten thousand years. If you do go through with it, you'll have few Aspect Warriors, because they, as followers of the Path of the Warrior, worship Khaine.
You're looking at a very heavy support, shooty army (lots of tanks) with heavy Guardian backup (Guardians are drawn from the artisans and engineers, which fits with the forge theme). Plus, since Vaul's been dead a long time, the rest of the Eldar race is going to view you as an odd, anachronistic, and possibly deluded cult. Kind of like finding a town that still worships Zeus.
Maybe Wraithguard/lords? Is that too much like Iyanden?
On the sword; be careful not to make it too similar to Vaul's last blade. That was a myth, after all.
Try to find the Gaelic for "Sword Forge" or "War Forge" or something like that. A lot of Eldar names are taken from Welsh or Gaelic terms, I think. Saim-Hann comes to mind.

No offence but I think Yme-loc already have dibbs on your idea; excellent artisans with lots of tanks and titans.
