The 40k universe has a massive amount of fluff in it. So much that alot of unanswered questions or loose ends have developed. So personally what fluff do you wish GW would elaborate on or provide closure to?
Personally, I find there are times I really wish GW would just tell us what the final two Original Space Marine Legions were. I know this is intentionally left blank by GW in order to allow fans to create their own original chapter, but frankly the majority of fan created founding chapters are bad, really bad. Plus I hate speculating on a subject without an idea what the answer is. (
My fluff desire will go unanswered for obvious reasons, but perhaps what you guys want will come true:w00t: So lets here what canon fluff you want GW to fill in!
somemore clarity about the traitor legions... how much are there still left? how do they make new CSM's?
I know a lot of stuff is left unanswered for a reason, but some scraps of info on this would be nice!
How about some info about why the Tyranids avoided the Dyson sphere, where the Outsider is snoozing.
Ed Gein+Screech= Emperors' children
Id really like to hear stuff about the Cursed and Dark foundings. Id also like to get more info on the eye of terror and the traitor marines in it.
O and on a side note how about getting more info out there about the necrons. The whole star gods/ Old ones stuff.
Where all the vortex grenades and power weapons went?........
Seriously what exactly can the Adeptus Mechanicus re-create, what they can only repair and what cool weapons have they lost entirly?
Oh and who are the missing Primarchs?.....I know I know GW leaves it blank to build up suspense or create a mystery yadda yadda, but it would be kind of cool to know what they did to get completly deleted.
"God is dead" Nietzsche- 1886
"Nietzsche is dead" God- 1900
Why are there scams? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q71FLDIMBc8
Personally I agree with HeZu and Stompy. More info on those subjects would be very welcommed.
I'd like to get it cleared up as to whether or not the Star Child fluff was still there... although that said I do love the mystery of not knowing a lot. Although the conceptions of "good" and "bad" warp energy sucked and need to be sorted out, ie removed with a sledgehammer. The idea behind the Illuminati and the Sensei were just silly.
I'm not too fussed about the missing legions, as I've got my own idea as to why they're not in the records any more. But I really wish GW would make it clear that missing legions fluff is a no-no, it gets tiresome when one or other of them shows up every five minutes.
And what happened to them is explained in the 3rd ed rulebook in a roundabout way. Read the "meaning of victory" passage.
What I would really love to see GW do is wipe Sabretooth Games off the face of the earth for their fluff heresy...
I don't mind fluff holes as such, more fluff contradictions, which I'm told there are lots of. Having said that I don't see much in the way of them.
That said, if anyone knows where they are and can show me them, I may well be annoyed and want them changed.
i would also like to see a sort of fluff-nazi-patrol: GW people going through all there stuff, including WD and such and also take a glancing look at black library stuff, coz the horus heresy books aren't at all compliiant with other fluff...
i'm kinda new to the 40K universe but i have read their fantastic background, i've only recently read the entire timeline of the Imperium in a past WD (WD160+ somewhere) and i loved the mystery behind it, also the sheer madness of the Emporer being a Super-Engineer, that made me laugh and wonder at how far the Imperium of Man had fallen.
there's also something that had always hugged the back of my mind, Commander Farsight; could he be turning to Chaos? i'd like to know more about this guy...

That's because the Horus Heresy books (unless you're talking Horus Rising etc, in which case I don't know) aren't made by GW but by Sabretooth Games. They are the very devil when it comes to fluff, and if I get anywhere near their executive bods I am venting my wrath upon them until the fourth generation for the travesty of a sham of a mockery of a sham of a mockery that they made of the Horus Heresy fluff.
