Looking for suggestions mostly.
As I work on building and adapting my Reconciler's chapter, I've made several adjustments since even their first appearance on here.
At current I enjoy kicking around a thematic question about their origins. And its in this vein that I ask for assistance.
I already have most of the fast attack elements of the chapter (they have a special company for it, the rest are forbidden to use land speeders and bikes) painted in whitish-gray and green, in order to be somewhat harkening of a given first founding chapter of less then good reputation (I also like the visual discordance of my purple and red marines on the grey and green bikes).
I was wondering if any of you could think of any little modelling or painting ideas, of relative simplicity, that could be done to help to arouse suspicion and/or curiousity for the chapter's history in a fellow player.
I'm not much good at making attention-grabbing details on my Marines but I think that in general, if your chapter is a DIY one, there will always be people who are interested to know what their origins are if you hang around and just have a chat. Otherwise, things you could do include modelling interesting Chapter Badges and other iconography for your marines, painting kill marks on the vehicles, basing them in odd ways.
That's all I can really come up with for the moment, hope it helps.
