Fluff:

“Hive Tyrant Deraximor,� the Tyrant Guard asked feverishly, “What do you plan on doing about the Human fighters?�

“You really should call them Imperial Guard, Sloneesh,� the massive Tyrant replied, “That is a an interesting question though, and I think I know how to achieve my goals of conquering this planet…�

After a view of the planet Deraximor saw that there was a war waging between a mighty group of Orks and some Feral Orks. The Imperial Guard had decided that this was the place for a decisive defense against the massive onslaught of Tyranid that was quickly approaching. They tricked the Feral Orks to help attack the Tyranid but first they must help the Feral Orks in defeating the other Orks threatening to take their land.

Little did the Imperial Guard know that the Tyranid had already made a pact of their own…

Game:
1500 points of Tyranid &
1250 points of Orks

Vs

1500 points of Imperial Guard &
1250 points of Feral Orks

First 3 turns:

Not much for the Tyranid (me). I shot his Leman Russ and blew it up(lucky 6) with a shot from one of my carnifex’s. Also, I probably killed a grand total of 5 imperial guard troops with barbed Stranglers and various other bio-weapons. The 2 Biovore’s I had managed to keep the Basilisk off my back for 2 turns and immobilized it (whoop di do).

My ally (Regular Orks) managed to completely annihilate the Feral Orks in approximately 6 turns (while taking almost no casualties himself).

In this whole time the Orks and Imperial Guard NEVER attacked each other, it was solely Imp vs. Tyranid and Feral Orks vs. Orks.

After the Orks took out the Feral Orks I took out the Imperial Guard (alone…) I took the following casualties: 1 Hive Tyrant (lucky plasma pistol…) 12 Genestealers (out of 22) and 3 Gaunts (out of 16)

I still had a Hive Tyrant, 2 Carnifex’s (all these units were in Hand-To-Hand at this point in the game) 10 Genestealers, 12 Gaunts, 2 Tyrant Guard, 3 Tyranid Warriors (protecting Biovore’s in the back…) 2 Biovore’s, and a Lictor

At this point in the game I turned on the Orks, and started attacking them. We were pretty much in Hand-to-hand.

At this point he still had most of his army (a mob of 20, another mob of 11, a dreadnaught, 2 wartrucks (empty), the command squad (with the warboss and 4 guys in Ork Mega-Armor) and 2 artillery pieces (not sure what they were))

I demolished his entire army in !!!!!3!!!!! turns.

It was great, turn one an entire mob was destroyed(barbed strangler, venom cannon, poison spore mine.) , along with my carnifex smashing his dreadnought, and my Tyranid warriors in the back destroying one of his artillery pieces.

Turn 2 I destroyed his entire squad of 20 with 2 shots from my Biovore’s poison spore minds(YAY) and his command squad and the remaining artillery piece.

Turn 3 I destroyed the remaining wartrucks with a total of 18 penetrating hits (I think its dead > )

Take into consideration that my army was significantly reduced after fighting a massive battle with Imperial Guard(with little to thank for my ally…) I also helped slightly in destroying the Feral Orks. My rolling in this wasn’t “perfect� either. I would rate it perfectly at “average�. Just what would happen in the average game.

Humm...orks seem to have great problems against nids, i realy think nids need to be toned down a little bit, also what edition of rules were you using? 4th or 3rd?

'nids need to be toned down? what, with STBO and the new 'nid nerfing shooting rules? I don't mean to be rude, but what are you smoking, exactly?

And why do the 'nids talk in your battle report? That's retarded.

Anyway, nice to see a bug victory.
