Now this is not the most accurate battle report since it's been made into a story from the viewpoint of the Dark Eldar. It still pictures the whole battle with every event still intact.
Now I haven't checked this for spelling etc. so it's a little crude but enjoy!
The way back
Morale had hit rock bottom. Khalros glanced at his men while he tried to figure out how to get his troops out of this mess. He was incredibly angry, but at the same time he was furious. His raid had gone nothing like he had expected. Instead of a simple hit and run, his raiding party had been caught in deadly crossfire. The Daemonhunters knew of their coming. He had lost two raiders, a ravager, and three squads of warriors. The remnants of the raiding party now consisted of two raider squads and himself. The situation kept getting worse as the second raider which they thought had taken only minimal damage now lay broken on the ground. As the crew tried to figure out whether or not they could fix the problem Khalros contacted the main force asking for an empty raider to transport his remaining party out of hostile territory. A raider was sent but it would take time to reach the Dracons tried squad. The warriors posted on lookout were now running towards the Dracon. "Sire, sire! Daemonhunters moving in from the north!" Just as things couldn't get much
worse, they of course did. As Khalros quickly devised a plan, there was a rage building up inside him which could spawn gods. "You there, get in the raider, the rest of you fall on me!" The dracon was going berserk, but knew exactly what he was doing. He ordered the raider to move up behind what used to be a building of sort when a shot rang out. As the Dracon quickly scanned the horizon for the shooter, the remaining raider dropped right to the ground, leaving it immobilized and the crew shocked. "DAMN IT ALL" Khalros shouted and quickly thought up his next move. "Get the hell out of that piece of junk and into those ruins!" He ordered the raider squad whilst leading the warriors behind the ruins of the ruined building. As he neared the corner another shot was fired.
Khalros let out a cry you could hear a mile away. The Dracon was wounded. He moved behind the building with his squad and checked the condition his wound. The bullet had gone straight through his left arm. Thank Nurgle it was only his pistol wielding arm and he could still decapitate just fine. He sneakily checked the corner for the sniper, but could see no one in the distance. He ordered the raider squad that had now deployed into the ruins of the house to fire at will and report any hostiles. Only seconds later the raider Sybarite shouts out "Stormtroopers! North side of the house! Kill those bastards!" The dark lances of the raider squad now deployed their deadly barrage on the
imperials. Simultaneously the immobilized raiders crew had recovered from the blast and opened fire on the squad with their dark lance. Two stormtroopers fell dead on the ground. The raider squad continued to fire with their splinter rifles but no real damage was inflicted. "Alright men we're going to get back at these bastards here and now. Follow me!” Said Kharlos as he began to flank the stormtrooper squad. The shooting continued but the splinter rifles of the raiders did only little damage to the enemy. Suddenly one of the raiders growled "What in the name of
Slaanesh is that?!?" Looking at the object that fell in the middle of their cover from the sky. But it was too late for anyone in the squad to react as the strange looking grenade exploded in the middle of their squad. Four raiders perished but the rest of the squad didn’t give up and stood their ground. As Khalros and his squad closed in on the enemy, the dark lance of the raider took out one more trooper from the enemy squad. Kharlos finally reached the NW corner
of the building and turned to face the enemy. "Die you scum!" He cried while attacking the squad leader with his agonizers killing him instantly. The warriors and the stormtroopers clashed in fierce combat. Three warriors lost their lives in the assault but the imperials had been pushed back. "Show no mercy, finish them off!" Khalros cried in his blood lust, charging the remnants of the elite imperials. The warrriors followed their Dracon towards the enemy, but
the stormtroopers had already been beaten. The men were horrified and exhausted from the surprise attack and had no more juice in them to fight off another attack. As they reached for their laspistols to finish theirselves off they were hurled to the ground as the warriors secured the remnants as prisoners. Even though the stormtroopers were now terminated, Khalros realized he now had an even bigger problem. He realized he had led his men into an open field with a unit of space marines
in the west hiding behind some rubble, and a sniper lying hidden in the east. This called for some quick decision making. "Raiders, move in and take out that cowardly sharpshooter!" Kharlos ordered the raiders while pointing out the location of the sniper while he again rushed the space marines in close combat. After only taking a couple of steps, the marines opened fire on their attackers. The warriors took massive losses leaving only one warrior who had had enough and fled to the old raiders position. When Khalros realized he had been left alone he didn't startle. No... This only made him angrier. When he reached the marine squad he attacked them with all his power but couldn't hit the enemy because of his blinding rage afflicting his senses. Meanwhile the raider squad finished off the sniper who had wounded the Dark Eldar leader and immobilized their raider. They started to move towards their blood thirsty leader in order to support him in combatt. The marines did the best they could in killing the Dracon but he was going crazy. He blocked and dodged every attack that came his way like he had supernatural agility. When Khalros finally took his chance to take a hit at the imperials he decided to make it count. His agonizers were getting bloodier every
second as he ripped his way through the emperors lackeys. It was all over in a matter of seconds. There he stood, on top of a space marine squad he had single handedly wiped out. The raider squad who had just made it to the scene of the final bloodshed looked in awe as their leader just walked away. As the Dark Eldar force regrouped at their immobilized raider they noticed something coming in from the south. Their ride was finally here.
A really good battle report in my opinion. Easy to understand and written in very good English (I'm assuming you're Finnish). It's good to hear the Dark Eldar are not extinct and are still going strong in the hands of some gamers. I have an army myself and am eagerly anticipating a new Codex sometime soon. It's about time!
Anyway, good report. It made for a nice read.
It's easy to look brave behind a stone wall.
I would've wanted to go with the usual battle report but didn't take pictures or write down what happened each turn so a story was my choice.
Anyways, thanks for the positive feedback!
Nice battle report, just watch your fluff.
The fact is we actually hate the chaos gods and have no affiliation with them at all. We do this to such an extent that we won't even speak "The great enemy"'s name and only refer to her as "She who thirsts".
This is an often confused subject as we take slaves and enjoy exquisite pleasures as we seek for perfection, some traits that are also in abundance with "She who thirsts". However it makes sense when you think about it as was how "She who thirsts" was born into the universe, our ancestors of old brought her into being and damned as all as she is constantly after our souls even when we are alive. We use two things to stop this, one we live in the webway which staves off her touch more than life in the materium and the second is that we offer up slaves to distract her away from our souls.
Dear Game Developer,Caps-Lock, its like cruise-control for AWESOMENESS!
Rock is cheese, Paper is just fine
WWP and other Dark Eldar how to

Will you post the army lists and unit point values plz?
Ave Dominus Nox!
^I'd really like to honestly, but I unfortunately can't at the moment.
You see this took place about a month ago and I really don't remember it exactly, especially what the Daemonhunters had...
The next time I visit my brother I'll ask him if he remembers!
My list to the best of my memory:
9 Warriors (2DL)
+Sybarite w/ Agonizers, Drugs
9 Warriors (2DL)
+Sybarite w/ Agonizers, Drugs
That's all I remember, of course I had more wargear for everyone
