I found this battle very funny but my opponent diddnt. it was a 1750 battle. I played my 'nids and my older bro played w/ my tau. now for the lists
Tyranids
Hq
Tyrant
2 sets of st, flesh hooks, implant attack, bio-plasma, and 2 tyrant guard

Tyrant
same as first one but w/ wings enstead of guard

Elites
2 lictors
3warriors w/ scything, rending claws, flesh hooks, extended carapace, and leaping
3warriors w/scything, 1 barbed strangler, flesh hooks, extended carapace, and 2deathspitters

Troops
8 hormagaunts at +1 i and +1 str
8 hormagaunts at +1 i and +1 str
8 hormagaunts at +1 i and +1 str
8 hormagaunts at +1 i and +1 str
6 genestealers

Heavy
2 biovores w/ poison mines
carnifex w/ venomcannon, st, flesh hooks, and extended carapace
carnifex w/ venomcannon, st, flesh hooks, and extended carapace

i forgot what he had but it didnt matter.
roll for turn one i got it.
he had infultrated his stealth suits near one of my biovores so i sent my winged tyrant there for the hell of it. all my gaunts ran forward trwords his firewarriors. he also had a crisis team about to mess with my other biovore so i decide if he did better get my force in cc. so i did no side tracking. in the shooting my biovores killed about 3 fire warriors mainly because one scatered. but i thought whatever, i reduded his pathfinders to nothing w/ the shooting from my carnifexes since they had nothing else to shot at. i dont know how it happened but my gaunts rolled all sixes and he set his army as far forward as he could.(dont worry i warned him aabout that before the game started then schoned him afterwords) so at turn one i went first my lictors were in assault w/ his crisis teams, tyrant w/ his stealth team, two gaunt squads w/ fire warriors, and 1 gaunt squad w/ the remenats of his pathfindes. so he just gave up. so to put it short it was the shortest 40k game i ever played. it took me longer to type this... after the battle we just laughed at it.
