my last match at national grand tourney in Romania was against the one who in the end will win this tourney: a very nice british guy called Blake.
His list (156 models):
Warboss powerklaw and some stuff
Big Mek Kustom field
4x25 shoota boys nob klaw bosspole
3x 10 Lootas
a long line of grots with a slaver (i never coounted them and i forgot the exact number )
My list (with which i managed somehow to end in third place)
Autarch power weapon mandiblaste, fusion gun jump generator
10 storm guardians 2 x flamer warlock destructor
Serpent Stones shuriken cannon
7 avengers exarch dual catapults bladestorm
Serpent Stones shuriken cannon
Serpent Stones shuriken cannon
8 scorpions exarch, claw stalker shadowstrike
5 spiders exarch dual spinners powerblades
2 x fire prisms
Deployment pitched battle
Mission 4 objectives 2 on right flank in in each deployment zone, on in middle in an area terrain and one somehow on left flank like 5 inch in Blake`s part of neutral zone
I baited the right flank with the 5 rangers and deployed all in left flank
he took the bait and put lootas on center left flank with 1 ork squad and the grots and 3 ork squads in the right flank
initiative roll and he took it.
All orks go foward trying to get bigger cover saves. Shooting phase he manage to destroy one prism and one spider die in explosion.
I go with the spiders and autarch on left flank screened bydragons serpent. The other 2 reposition to treathen the left advancing grots and ork unit. Shooting kill a few lootas in the center.
Orks advance on right flank and took also the center objective. His shooting fail to kill anything except 1 spider. One serpent lost the turret
I shot and charged the left lootas with autarch and spiders and wipe them out. consolidate behind cover to prepare the next charge. Rangers pin one lootas squad.
Avengers and guardians and serpents wipe all grots except the slaver and reduce the left ork mob to 13 guys and the nob (with doom help)
Orks assault my right Rangers and wipe them out. Shootin imobilize 2 of my serpents. Left orks assault my guardian squad and somehow i manage to kill the nob and 12 orks before they swing. we were like"OMG what just happened". i lost 1 guardian and that was all
I consolidate to assault the lootas.
Scorpions finnaly enter play behind one ork squad in the right.
I shot one of the lootas squads and wipe it to a man. Avengers move to assault the lonely slaver, prism manage to kill only a few orks per turn. Guardians assault both of lootas wipe one but fail on the other one, lost a few and remained in combat. My scorpion assaulted and i fail to hit 25 swings. In the end i killed only 5 orks and lost 6 scorps. Remained in combat with the last 2. Avengers kill in CC the slaver and consolidate on cover and the left objective
orks shot at avengers who took the objective. i go to ground and lose only 1 guy. In CC guardians kill the lootas and consolidate towards center where 20 orks a warboss and a big mek are waiting. last 2 scorps proved more efficient and kill 5 orks before they died. Blake forgot here to consolidate and left his orks so nice grouped.
I shot on the center but fail to make the charges.
Nothing important in ork shooting (a few guardians died). Center orks assault the guardians and the farseer and wipe them out (losing a few in process)
Autarch, spiders, all the serpents (the moving one i moved to contest the center objective - i was hoping that the game will not end here) shot at center orks and then assaulter them. after the dust remained the autarch, 2 spiders and spider exarch was fighting the boss, big mek and nob. i killed the nob and mek, boss killed 2 spiders so the 2 generals and the exarch remained in fighting.
Here i had a chance to actually win the game. i shot the prism at the grouped orks ?(which killed the scorps). i had all orks under template but i scattered awaaaay.
Ork did practically nothing...autacrh lost his final wound and got killed by warboss but my brave exarch remained in fight. The 2 squads of boys on the objectives arranged trying to protect the objectives
I tank shock my prism avoiding the nob near one of the enemy objectives. I charged the dragons in the warboss fight to he would have to chose and not wipe the spider exarch and consolidate somehow in range to contest my objective. I lost 2 dragons, they fled but my spider exarch remained.
match ended 1-1 on objectives on turn 6 and i was the only 1 guy not beaten by the champ.
A really tight great game where my mobility saved the day for me. The MVP for me was the autarch and his spider guys. They killed like 17-18 lootas and some orks and a nob and a big mek. their mobility is great and powerblades on exarch works great with an autarch.

Really cool game I'd say. Your list was different from a lot of the Eldar lists I see, some ways good some bad. He sure ran a ton of Lootas!
Pleasure to read, if you keep reporting I'd clean up the grammar a bit but other than that just really nice.
Fantastico Fantastico! A very different and sucessful eldar list! I plan on running an Autarch the same way, though perhaps with wings and something else.
As for your grammer, I'm sure we can excuse a romanian for a little mis typed english.
Thank eldaneesh someone uses storm guardians other then myself!
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
A very interesting list, I like to see people try something different. Great report!
Perhaps the fact i took a different list made me enter the top 3.
I practically swapped some fundamental weaknesses of the Eldar with more tactical felxibility.
I had 5 matches in first 3 the autarch allowed me start in all reserve. This breaked both marine player i faced as i managed to almost wipe them out in just 3 concentrated turns of shooting and assault. The imperial guard player i faced arrived with no less than 3 tanks and 10 or 12 lascannons and he played for a draw which with a little luck got it.
The 2 ork players matches both with horde armies over 140 models i started on table and took the first turn. The god dice was not with me and my weakness in anihillation game got me a loss then the match with the future champion that made me the only guy who managed not to be defeated by them.
List was made specifical with tactical reasons and not about firepower or survavibility.
Autarch/spider combo was star in locking in combat dangerous mobile units or long range heavy units. They killed in 2 matches like 50 lootas. Autarch`s fusion gun got me also a Leman Riss kill . Their mobility, good saves and versatility was on spot in every moment.
One of my big weaknesses were the fact i had 1 imobile troop chooice: the rangers. ussualy they were sacrificed to bait a fake weak flank and limit by this the mobility of the enemy.
Fire prism underworked (for me cause i`m cursed at rolling scatter dice). I thought a lot not to take them and i would probably did better with 10 more storm guardians with flamers in a serpent than the prisms. Only moment they shined was when the prisms decimated a 10 marine squad with a AP3 blast practically stopping the assaault of the marine player on that flank (combined with 5 dragons shooting at point blank range the Land Raider and turning it in a wreck).
The list also proves that WH 40k is about tactics and strategy and units can be used as killing machines or pieces that work together in a bigger plan.

That IG list sounds awful, way to 4th Ed. I'm not surprised the Orks did well, hordes is something a lot of people can't deal with in enough time.
People who play 100% mech without any covering fire or DS/Outflank deserve to lose. Eldar just won a tournie here with a pretty unorthodox list, except he won mostly on scenarios where you played well and had some random tricks.
