First up, Space Marines. I don't like SM already, and I've only been playing for 4 days. 500p. Terrain: city. I went first.
I killed all his scouts first turn.
He didn't kill anything of mine first turn.
I killed a few more space marines in the next two turns, including all of one squad but a heavy bolter.
In his fourth turn he destroyed my hammerhead with a pistol.
At the start of my fith turn all I had was a Commander. I moved him 12" away from everyone, killing three guys on the way.
At the start of his turn he points out that I moved my commander right in front of his heavy bolter.
<_< The end.
Second was a three way battle, Tau vs SM vs DH. 500p. Terrain: city. I went first again.
 I killed all his scouts first turn again. They were the only thing my smart missiles could fire at, he really didn't learn from last time.
SM advanced towards me, except for a squad with a lascannon.
Grey Knights also advanced towards me. GKT moved towards SM.
My Commander had fun shooting a fusion blaster and rapid firing a Plasma rifle at the Grey Knights and moving back into cover. They died really quickly.
I was also somehow able to hold off the SM advance.
In the end I had a Hammerhead and DH had 1 Terminator. It took me 4 railgun shots to hit, wound, and then get the Terminator to fail its IS.
Third battle was a great battle. DH vs Tau vs Eldar. Scenario: capture/hold building. 750p. Terrain: city. Daemonhunters went first. Eldar infilrated his scouts between me and himself so I couldn't infliltrate my Kroot near his main force.
I however killed all but one scout in my first turn. My Kroot advanced towards the Eldar and the shaper's pulse carbine actually pinned the Guardians, making up for missing the whole squad with my railgun submunition.
Eldar obviously advanced towards my Kroot and Assaulted second turn.
Daemonhunters on the other hand were in the building by the second turn with the use of a rhino, which I immobilised the turn after he unloaded.
Eldar Wraithlord, Avatar, and Banshees massacred the Kroot.
The War Walker shot at my Hammerhead. Failed to Glance. My Hammerhead shot back. The War Walker was now a War Casualty.
Daemonhunters finally was able to deep strike 5 Grey Knight Terminators in turn 3. They can deep strike even in this scenario.
The Wraith lord got some insane flamer template attack on all five GKT, killing 3. It also killed one with it's gun. Then the Wraithlord and the Avatar assaulted the lone GKT. It wasn't just any GKT, it was DH HQ. It killed the Avatar, the Avatar did a wound though, and the Wraithlord finished the HQ off.
I was quite happy now. I'd only lost all my Kroot and a few gun drones.
My HQ, pleased to be the only HQ left, killed the rest of the DH with the help of the Hammerhead.
O.k all of a sudden it's Last turn. All that is left is one Wraithlord, with not only no wounds lost but also in the building, against my Commander about 9" away from the building, and my Hammerhead, far away. The rules are one team must be inside the building for a win, if two teams are present then all the models inside the building assault.
*psteve thinks about taking on a Wraithlord
Oh god I really had to kill it this turn. The problem was all I had was 1 Railgun (o.k so that's not too bad), 1 Fusion Blaster (5/12 chance of wounding), and 1 Plasma rifle. :hmm:
I'll tell you now there was a (edit i have have no idea but probably about 5%) very low chance of me doing at least 3 wounds. And I certainly did it, one weapon at a time. My Commander then moved into the building in the assault phase just to prove the point I was the best(/luckiest).
Cool battles, I recently lost a Devilfish to a boltgun, even more galling is that it came from a Guardsman (Lt dude), a good trio of battles, you are so lucky to have killed that wraithlord, i once fired 138 pulse shots, 8 plasma and 4 railgun shots and failed to kill it, in a sabotage, it walked right up to it...
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
How did he manage to get a guy with a pistol behind your tank?
Otherwise, these were very good battles.
Begone! This is not for your brains.
When Lost Nemisis says something, it pays to listen...
And to think, if it weren't for me, he may not even be playing Tau.

Nice reports! If you ever have any other reports, I recommend that you post it in "Our Mechanized Forces" along with a 'what I learned' summery of what to do, not to do, good, bad, etc. to help in future battles for other members.
The only thing that is stopping you from being what you can be is what you think other people think about you.
If you could say one thing to the world, what would it be?
