This is an older battle. Sorry I did not post it!
The 3 units of Dark Reapers had me sweating for the first turn, which I lost. 48 inch AP3. Also the opponent brought numerous starcannons, which I think are the best weapons around. He brought a Farseer on a jetbike, and Fire Dragons in a Falcon grav tank, and whatever else I have listed.
My Automarines took it really hard this turn. I should have screened the tactical squads with my terminators. Not a bad tactic.
Some assault cannon retribution. Heavy 4 rending. I remember going after the dark reapers but I should have stayed on the Starcannon guardian squads.
Whelp, all my tactical squads were gone at this point, except a Veteran Sergeant. I think he killed a Warlock.
I went after starcannons this turn... took out the pesky Falcon with its Dangerous cargo.
This is when things got bad. I didnt know about the power fist in the Striking Scorpions, and I didnt know about the web of skulls in the Swooping Hawks.
I had two units left: Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion. Erk.
I suspect the eldar, since one Grey Knight GM and an armless dread are not worth *that* many victory points
Hmmm...I dunno. It could be very close...
Still. another good report. Go Optimus Prime! raaaawr!
