My worst fluff in recent times was guard and i was playing as a blood angel death company army, that basically just drop pods and deep strikes.
It was a break through battle with a guard armoured company as the defenders (not good).
so before the game i infilrated 2 squads of guard behind the enemy, both squads had teleport homers and the sergents had artificer armour, power weapons and plasma pistol (i know it seems stupid but they had a purpose and were as hard as nails).
~ so turn 1 the scouts blow up two basalisks with two luck missile hits, and that was all the shooting.
~ guard turn 1 7 basalisks fire at the scouts and i have to say this basalisks suck the only killed 3 scouts.
I try to bring in all the drop pods and deepstrikers and of course nothing comes down. (perfect  ) so i blow up 2 more Basalisks
5 basalisks fire killing 1 more scouts leaving just the sergents and missiles launcher
I Bring in a Terminator squad and 3 dreadnoughts i managed to kill all but one basalisks. (seems good but wiat here is where it all goes wrong)
~guard turn 3
basalisk kills termies lascannons kill dreads and im left with scouts again (wtf  )
i bring in the rest off whats left 1 dread 1 termie squad and all 4 tactical squads with melta guns and the deathcompany (2 chaplains, 12 assault marines and 4 more with powerweapons)
balalisk gets immobalised (*~#@)
~guard turn 4 basalisk fires kills deathcompany (everything but chaplains) and heavy bolters and lascannons kill dread and termies,
scouts kill last basalisk and chaplains charge guard, all off whom die from 12 attacks with lightning claws (guard dont like power weapons)
~guard turn 5
chaplains loose a wound each
~ turn 6
scouts fag the guard command squad kill 2 and chaplains charge heavy weapon teams
chaplains fluff attacks and loose a wound again (#*#~)
Guard turn 6
command squad charges and chaplains die, and thats game over 1800 points of marines die but thats ok because the scouts lived and won the game.
althought i fluffed a lot i still won
let me know that you think

Everything you have been told is a lie!
Well I was going to post that, but Chered was too fast!:w00t:Originally Posted by What I was going to post.
Although I do think that is a good thing as we are active/on the ball.
You guys get the point of what I was trying to say though?
Um, were you guys playing along to the force organisation chart? Because 7 basalisks means 7 heavy support choices and that's more then 2 foc's!
Think they were playing armoured company, not sure, but yeah if not it would obviously be without the FoC
Even in armored company, basalisks are heavy support.
"When one man dies it is a tragedy. When thousands die its a statistic."
Judging from both the number of basilisks and their targets and damage rates, by basilisk he means Chimera
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Maybe the definition of the slang term has changed, but I was under the impression that "Fluff" in a Gaming context, referred to backstory. I can't decipher your usage.
"Fluff against guard"
"chaplains fluff attacks and loose a wound again "
"althought i fluffed a lot i still won"
"My worst fluff in recent times"
I think the word you are looking for might be "Smurf"
"I would have smurfed him real good if he hadn't smurfed me with that smrufing smurf!"

I've been addicted to World of Tanks lately and neglecting my IG... But it is so... much... fun!
