This was my first time playing in a couple of months and thankfully I was not rusty.
The Mission was Secure and Control gamma- 4 counters
X2 12 Flash Gitz
X2 12 Flash Gitz
18 Slugga boyz
X2 16 Grot
X2 8 Trukkboyz
6 man command squad
1 Thunder hammer
2 cyclone Missiles
The bs git units took cover in trees Behind was a trukkboy unit and bassie. Across from them was the heavy flamer termie squad, o the right of those gitz was a line of grotz and then Kanz. Behind the grots was the slugfaz with the boss. They were across from the main battle line of the deathwing which included the command squad, Assault termies, ac termies, and dread with the LR behind them. To the right of the kanz was another line of grotz which was in front of the rokkit gitz. Acros from them were the cyclone termies and to my right were kommandos hiding behind trees.
Turn 1 Orks-
General advance for everone except kommandos and grots on right bogged down by terrain. All the termies make thir saves except for one command squad termie who is saved by the apothecary. But the good part is that the bassie blows up the LR getting 13 termies with the explosion but no failed saves.
Turn 1 Deathwing-
General advance. Not much happening, one bs git unit and a rokkit git unit are taken down below half.
Turn 2 Orks-
Another general advance where my traps are set, the grots move ahead into assault range of termies with the sluggas 4 in behind. Also the kanz and kommandos corner the cyclone termies. Shooting manages toi bring down a heavy flamer termie with bs, and a LC termie with the mega blasta. The dreadnought is shaken by rokkits.
Turn 2 Deathwing-
The command squad and LC marines move to assault the grots while the cyclone marines move back and the HF termies move forward. The AC termies wipe out the bs gitz while the cyclone missiles immobilise a kan and stun another. Assault has all the grots killed but because of positioning the slaver is alive, runs and leaves the termies in the open for trukkerz and sluggaz.
Turn 3 Orks-
The slugga boyz move to assault the command squad and the trukerz jump out to assault the assault squad. The remaining bs gitz move up to bait the hf termies while the remaining truk wait behind cover to counterattack. the rokkits move to fire at dread and shake it again. The trukkerz wipe out the assault termies easily, two being chopped by the Initiative 6 nob and they consolidate into the big combat where my boss is killed after taking everything from the termies allowing the boys to take down another 2 marines, we consolidate.
Turn 3 deathwing-
he falls into the trap with his hf marines wiping out the bs gitz, The cyclones do nothing to the kanz, go plates and are left to be assaulted, The dreanought, not being able to fire, joins the combat killing two orks where 6 more are killed by the termies. However the cluggas kill the remaining command other than Bellial and the burnas immon=blise the dread.
turn 4 Orks-
The trukkerz assault the hf flamers, while two kanz assault the cyclone termies and kommandos move in to help the kill. In assault, the hf termies are easily wiped out and only two of the cylone squad go down while one kan is PFed. Bellial is klawed after killing 3 orks while the dread's venerable ability keeps it from receiving any serious damage.
turn 4 deathwing-
The AC termies wipe out the exposed trukk boyz but will soon be chrged. The Dreadnought goes down and the kan drops another termie while he is only shaken. At this point my opponent concedes seeing as I have control of all tghe coubnters and the he will soon be wiped out,

you did very well in that battle report but i think a few changes to your list would have made it easier.
If you got tankbustas for anti tank it would be better then using flashgitz, because of tankhunters. For your flash gitz squads i reccomend
5 flash gitz with 4 big shoota
well played, terminators are hard to beat
I see Belial in the Dark Angel army and have to ask if this is using the new codex? If so then your opponent is only allowed one assault cannon/heavy flamer/cyclone missile launcher per terminator squad. (Well, at least thats what they keep saying on the marine forum.)

Yea I have not looked at the new codex yet, and I know that it was his first time using it so we should check on that. Also I have contemplated using tankbustas but in my 1850 point and up lists my troops and elites are filled, I think they are more expensive and get one less rokkit which is huge for me because I have terrible luck. Twice during the game did I fire 5 big shootas at a termie squad and al 15 shots missed, I know I hit on 5s but that is just ridiculous.
My only complaint is spelling/grammar. it makes for an easier read if that's all good and the lists are clear. Other than that *thumbs up*

Seems to me like the Deathwing player didn't know what he was doing.
Assaulting orcs is just plain stupid, unless you have no choice. Assaulting them on turn 3 is suicide, he should have kept falling back and filling your orcs with holes. Excellent win though.
I have yet to play against an ork player (none nearby) but the stories I hear and the rules I've read just make it obvious that assault is totally pointless. Especially in Terminator suits.

Good report, altho I'm with the guy about the spellchecking
Once again, my disdain of Assault Termies is verified by total strangers. They are just so much more situational than regular termies.
Not sure if 2 month old threads count as Necro-ing, but still, if the thread's this old, cahnces are mostly everyone's already read it, if not commented. Try not to respond to many threads on pages 3-4.
