has anyone made any rules for 40k using the mighty empires tiles?
I haven't seen any around. But I think it's a wonderful idea! Map based campaigns are great...
Like the newest Dawn of War expansion, it would be possible to argue that fleets make it impossible to use spacecrafts, or using gothic to represent the spacebattles.

I think this is a wonderfull idea,
it could work on all scales epic, gothic and 40k!
Ofcourse i would stay on 40k because i dont have the others,
but i think its a potentially rich supplement!
I'm on it! My friends and I already have a BFG and 40k campaign in the works, it would probably be easy to add mighty empires to the mix. I'll look it over and let you guys know what I come up with.
i've been thinking about this after seeing the tiles, i think it'll work too! (i always liked maps an' things so that's why i'm thinking about doing it too)
Done and done! The rules are a bit long at 11 pages, but I think they should be pretty balanced. I an not sure exactly how I can give them to people. With all the people on LO I have a whole group of beta-testers just sitting around. I guess you should just post your emails addresses and I will mail you the rules and the jpeg of the tiles so you can print them out.
Here is what they look like.

I've never tried it, but I love maps and as a kid loved to be able to battle over maps. I think I'll probably just make my own tiles out of foam board or cardboard though.
Yeah you could, but what I wanted to do was combine the two game systems. If your fleets meet in the middle of nowhere its a BFG battle, if you assault a planet to take it over, you land your troops on the surface and play a 40K game. It works alright, but there are about 2 BFG games to 1 40k, which is fine with my group, but might not be ok for other people.
Hey, if people want to play more 40k games just increase the amount of battles played during the invasion.Yeah you could, but what I wanted to do was combine the two game systems.
