I'm planning to make a campaign (Dark Eldar v.s. Space Marines and possibly Imperial Guard) and I'd like some help planning it... The outcome of the campaign is going to affect both of our fluffs A LOT!
The bottom line is that the Dark Eldar are invading the Space Marine planet and the IG are sent as reinforcements. That's how far I've gotten
I'd like to know what kind of scenarios would be good to include and things like that.
Storyline is not a problem.
Please make suggestions!
Well it seems like the first thing you need to do is figure out what format your Campaign will be in, Map-Based, Ladder, territories, etc. Or to phrase it differently how will your players know they are winning or losing?
Second Question: How many Players are you going to have on each side? Is it just you playing the role of the Space Marines and a friend playing Dark Eldar? This will also help determine what type of Campagin you would do.
If it is just you and maybe one or two other people I might recommend a Ladder Campaign (a series of linked scenarios). Black Gobbo had an excellent Orks versus Tau linked Campaign that did not favor one faction or another in terms of story. The White Dwarf Mgazine also has a few good examples.
