Hey folks, it's about time I get this thread rolling. So here's the deal. I plan on helping to organise a Librarium-wide 40k campaign to take place this summer. It is quite a hefty project and not something that I or even a couple of us can do alone, so I'm looking for "staff" to help me do a variety of tasks for this campaign. Below is a general list of things I'm looking for and the requirements of each.
If you are interested in one or more of the positions below, please send me a Personal Message with your username, available contact info (some form of instant messenger is preferred), the position titles, and what you have to offer to the position.
Head Organiser: Lost Nemesis
The organisers are responsible for discussing and creating the layout of the campaign. They will discuss balance issues, how the campaign will function, and will oversee the overall makeup of the campaign including its story, art, and battle reports. Organisers should be very organised (obviously!) and be prepared to devote a large amount of time to discussing a variety of ideas in order to create the best possible campaign for the forum.
The writers' job is to write the back story and progression storyline of each faction in the campaign. With the aid of a fluff master from here on LO (to ensure quality of fluff), the writers will tell the story of the campaign as it progresses, changing based on the outcome of battles that members of LO report. The writers should have a strong sense of spelling, grammar, and descriptive/creative technique and they should be prepared to write quality material in a short period of time. The fluff master should, well, be a fluff master!
The job of the recorders is exactly as it sounds - they are to record the outcome of battles so that the story of the campaign can progress. Players will report their battle outcomes to one of the three recorders and the head recorder will compile the data to send to the head organiser. It is important for all recorders to be very organised and structured and to be able to ensure the quality of the data they send and receive. The position of recorder is one of the most important in the campaign staff - without recording the information received about players' battles, there would be no campaign progression.
Artists help to tell the story and bring characters to life visually, accompanying the writing dished out by the writing staff. Artists should be prepared to create several works in a short period of time for a variety of forces and terrain features. Some experience making 40k art is requested but not required.
If you have any questions about any of the positions or the campaign in general, please do not hesitate to send me a PM.
Thanks for looking, and I hope to hear from you!
can I be a writer? All I need to get started is a planet and the reason for being there. Most armies would be self explanatory.I love writing stories and so would absoutly love that job.
I'm up for recorder if there's space. I'm no good with art or at creative writing, but I'd like to be a part of it all!
were is librarium situated
or more specifically were would the tourney being held?
hey I sent you a PM. Check it out an dlet me know if you need help
If you win games against Nids with flamers (aside from the Inferno Cannon on a Hellhound), you're playing against opponents with stupidity of impressive magnitude.
It sounds fun, I'd be happy to help as both a writer and a fluffmaster. I don't want to sound boastful or anything but I wouldn't mind being head writer. This sounds like a great idea, please tell me more details!
Also, I'll send you a PM because I am silly and didn't read the post properly.

I sent you a PM about possible being a recorder.
Currently play: 4000+ of Black Legion
Okay, folks. Thanks again to everyone who's sent me a PM, you will all be considered for the positions you requested. I'm afraid I got a few more PMs than I thought I would, so unfortunately not everyone will be able to contribute this go around, but I am very happy to see such a large interest in helping get this project off the ground.
At this time, I'm no longer receiving PMs for organisers, writers or recorders. If you are an artist and you would like to contribute to the campaign project, please still feel free to send me a PM!
Thanks again, everyone! I'll get some PMs and a new thread out over the weekend.
