Deployment, Pitched Battle.
Zeratull's Black Legion Force deploys first, FaaP fail to sieze.Zeratull's Black Legion Force
[Daemon Prince Zeratull]
[Mark of Slaanesh, Wings, Warptime]
[10 Chaos Marines]
[Plasmagun, Lazcannon, Icon of Chaos Glory, Champion with Powerfist]
[6 Noise Marines]
[Champion with Doomsiren, Powerweapon, Personal Icon, Rhino with combi-flamer]
[7 Plague marines]
[2 plasmaguns, champion with powerfist and combi-plasma, personal icon]
[8 Khorne Bezerkers]
[champion with powerfist, personal icon, rhino]
[7 Lesser daemons]
Total Points = 1500
For Deployment Type
Spearhead - Deploy foot based units and keep rhino squads in reserve. Likewise Unless a lot of vehicles in the opposition army, the obliterators are in reserve.
Dawn of War - Deploy the plague marines well forward and the chaos marines further back (or on an objective if possible), deploy daemon prince to support the plague marines. Rhino squads come on turn 1, obliterators in reserve.
Pitched Battle - Deploy entire army (except lesser daemons).
Against Army types
Mech - Against mech armies generally deploy the obliterators to maximise shooting from turn 1.
Static - Deploy army as close as possible, deepstrike the oblits.
Daemon Prince - Go for other big critters, init 6 and re-roll to hit and wound should help him here, also to wipe out smaller termie squads etc.
Lesser Daemons - Assault support and to help tie up an enemy unit, try to engage units to block LOS. Also, if needed will camp on an objective.PM me with any questions or amendments.FaaP (Flamers and a Punch.)
Vulkan He'stan 190p
Tactical Squad x10
Tactical Squad x10
Scout Squad x5
5x Sniper Rifle, Teleport Homer, Camo Cloaks, Melta Bomb
Terminator Squad x10
2x Heavy Flamer
x5 Combi-Plasma, Rhino 190p
Vulkan joins the Sternguard in the Rhino, load of plasma to one-shoot those nasty targets. Also great for contesting with. Scouts (place them well) gives Termies that safe landing with the homer. Rest is pretty straight forward. The attack bike dosen't pose that much of a threat, but the quick speed and semi-good range is a hazard to most vehicles.
Black Legion wins.
Black Legion sets up first and the Salamanders have to walk thru a hail of fire from the oblits, the plague marines, and the CSM squad.
Salamanders only have three mobile units, the bike, scouts and the command rhino ... those units will die first and only the scout unit is scoring. It's also the most fragile.
Finally, Black Legion has lots of anti-marine weapons, including the Doom Siren, Oblits, Plague Marines with Plasma, Daemon Prince, and Khorne Berzerkers. All these weapons are mobile. Even if Salamander Terms get a good deep strike location, the Chaos Player can turn two or three of his anti-marine units on them, and its GG.
The Berzerkers, the DP, and the Noise Marines also have higher init, so even if it becomes a CC battle, Black legion still wins.

Rogue Angel: "Meet da Chaos Lord"
Having first turn, the Black Legion should be able to knock down the few mobile units the SM have, making it harder for them to utilize all the nice TL'ed weapons that Vulkan provides.
As the Tactics for the SM are kinda bare, it makes me assume that Combat Squads are not utilized, which makes it easier to deal with the termies when they come in, since they'll be in a huge ten-man clump. Obliterators can definitely whip out the plasma cannons and make it very ugly.
With the turn order mentioned above, its gonna be hard for the Sternguard to pull off their combi-plasma "dump & pump" in their rhino, as its one of the SM's few forward moving units, meaning it will be isolated quickly.
These are just a few of the problems I see...

The FaaP are not manouverable enough and the Terminator will not achieve anything due to their inability to do anything the turn they arrive (well, their SBs will remove a unit but then the Terminators will be shot to peices the remainder killed by beserkers). So the Black Legion should win.

I agree with Kroxigor01 on this one. FaaP doesn't have enough maneuvrability to deal with the anti marine firepower of the Black Legion. They should be able to comprehensivly mop up the marines.

The salamanders dont have enough long range kick to deal with what the Blank Legion is bringing down on their head especially with turn one those oblits are going to do a lot of damage. The loyalists just don't have the speed or the range to compensate for the lack of speed.
Change is good
With a single fast mulitmelta, Faap will struggle to cause many wounds against the beasty DP.
All those oblits will cause a hell of a lot of pain toward the 10 terminators.
I do see it being much closer than others have made thier comments appear, but Zeratulls black legion will prevail.
