Sarek goes with Stigma inside the Divine Fury
Artucko rides with Delta
Bartholomé rides with Epsilon
Everything will deploy in a fashionable order, The vindicators will set up as a
wall and behind that the Land Raider.
Left of this we have Alpha and Delta inside their Razorbacks.
Right of this we have Beta and Epsilon inside their Razorbacks.
Gamma and Omega will set up where they "easily" can make a run for the land raider.
Vindicators will go towards the enemy lines and bombard static units and lastly the whirlwind. If they are alive after this they will shoot at suitible targets alt tank shock units.
Razorbacks will go fast and if possible unload marines on their rhinos.
Sarek will try to keep up Shield of Sanguinius as they roam ahead with his terminator buddys inside the land raider. They will keep somewhat behind the vindicators, trying to set up firstly a counter charge for their terminators. if this not work they will try to pick that land raider they have apart.
Vote closes on Friday 18th of March at 1800 PM. Remember to bold your votes.
Hmmm....red on red...I vote for the red team. Hehe. Actually, I'm going BA here. Both sides are a little vague in their tactics and deployment (although I burst out in a fit of laughter at the "fashionable order" of the BA deployment), so I'm basing this on the lists themselves (hey, it's listwar). The AM list is pretty decently balanced between anti-MEQ and anti-horde firepower, while the BA list is pure-anti-TEQ (which works really well against MEQs, while heavy bolters, heavy flamers, and whirlwinds will whiff against 3+ armor saves and a ton of speed).

IG since 1999 __ DA since 2002 __ Tau since 2005 __ SoB since 2007
Brets 1997-1999 __ TK since 2009 __ Empire since 2010
it was really close. I would say it could go either way as the tactics didn't do much to differentiate between two fairly evenly builts lists. I was swayed to the mechanicus because they had more stuff to pop transports at range meaning they get to pick the fights. Lascannons open things up from a distance, and then ww punishes those who have to walk.
BA don't have enough ranged things to pop the rhinos. Plus the Adeptus Mechanicus go first, which means popping smoke = less dead Rhinos = more meltas brought to bear = more dead razorbacks = GG.
In addition the Adeptus have a total of 6 scoring units, 3 going for objectives, 3 sitting on near ones. This is compared to 4 going for objectives, or 3 going for and one sitting back (And being almost useless as the range of a heavy bolter is not far enough to pose a serious threat to the troops on back objectives).
Yes as in the book.
And get dem Dragons out of dem Falcons! Downright embarisin sometimes.
I'd say BA will just nudge this one out. The Adept Mech won't stop all that speed. They just don't have enough guns to take out the razorbacks and vindicators. Those vindicators will royally hose them.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Edging it to BA. Meltabikes, S10 blasts, FnP, the Adeptus Mechanicus have fewer tools.
I have to go BA on this, as I believe that the mechanicus doesn't have enough ranged firepower to stop the blood angel's "fashionable" force from advancing. The vindicators will eat up the squads outside rhinos, and the devastators will be rather ineffective against 3+ saves, while the mechanicus' rhinos should fall early on to either assault from the tactical marines or the melta bikes, which would be tough to take out assuming they turbo boost first turn.
Through victory my chains are broken
ba, both the tactics are sound, but the BA army list is more air lock tight.

Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
I got BA for this one. They just got too many tanks. Either the razorbacks go down and the vindicators get to blow stuff up or he takes out the cannons and all those BA assault squads run rampant. Plus the bikes should be doing some damage by turn 2 if not dealt with right away.
