Since I go first I'll deploy my units in a quarter circle, and since his treath range is apart from Land Raider 24" I'll deploy at 8" from my boundary, keeping only the Scourges in reserve, holding the Voidravens at the edges, and holding my Archon w/ Incubi raider back, Haemonculus joins Grotesque unit, and centres the quarter cirkle, next to them Wracks, next to them Warriors, next to one of those the 3*Dissie ravager
every turn my fire will be aimed to first stun/shake (or worse) the Land Raider (Raider first),then I attack Vindicators, then Defiler, while keep to remain within the 30-36" range of them, to prevent retalliation, untill his mech is crippled, while the dissintegrator ravager fires on princes first, and once they're within range my warriors unload their fire on the remainder of them, (don't forget ravager/stormraven can move 12" and shoot all their weapons, once we reach boards end I dismount to give charges on enemy units, though I try to fire the daemon prince and not directly assault him, if the daemon princes die, ravager fires at terminators,

Landraider in the middle, Vindicators flanking the Raider. Daemon Princes using the Raider for cover until they get close. Noise Marines in Rhino on the left flank of the Vindicator on the left. 2 Rhino's on the right flank of the right Vindicator Defiler Behind Rhino wall. The 2 man Terminators squad will Deepstrike. Shown as such: Will deploy full 12" forward.
:Rhino: :Vindicator: :Land Raider: :Vindicator: :Rhino: :Rhino:
------------------ Prince: Prince:---------------Defiler:---
Landraider, Rhino's, Princes move 12" forward and pop smoke. Vindi's move 6" every turn and draw LOS. Defiler Moves up 6" Draws LOS. Defiler and Vindi's will shoot Voidraven's. Terminators will pop out when I get close, and blow a Raider with Plasma then assault squad inside. Same with Chaos Marines. Noise Marines will wait for Archon and Incubi to disembark and then Doomsiren him and his squad from inside their own Rhino if possible. When the Grotesques disembark, they are going to eat a Vindicator shell. The Princes will travel together, lash, and assault squads together.
Vote closes on Friday 18th of March at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
After an initial first few turns of Dark Eldar-appropriate butchery... The resilience of the CSM should pull through. Dark Eldar hit hard, but sure can't take a punch from vindicators and a defiler blasting away at them, raiders will drop like flies, and the T3 contents will be cut to ribbons (but only after killing off a few marines).
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
The DE will take an early lead but I dont think they have enough AT weapons to stop all of the CSM vehicles, they wil get cornered and knocked out of their transports, then charged. I think it will be a narrow victory for the Chaos Marines.
IG Best Gen 1st overall of 10 DE 4th overall of 6
Eldar 3rd Overall/Best General of 26--2nd Overall/Best General of 7--1st Overall/Best General of 11
If the DE relied more on staying mobile, less on what appeared to be a castle deffense (leave that to tau) than I could have said DE.
Im going to go CSM.
If the DE player had focussed the rhinos I would have gone for him as those are easy kp's, but as he decided to target the big things the rhinos will get through unscathed. This means defeat for the DE as all his vehicles are easy to pop for the CSM, therefore the CSMs will gain more kp through vehicle popping.
I fully expect the princes to go down. The same for the Land Raider. This is a problem for the DE as these are the tar pit units. Chaos wants you to shoot at these. Big mistake for the DE. He would probably find after the battle he shot at the wrong things. Those vindicators will reap a great tally and should be on target prioritization. Same for the rhinos. Deamon princes are easy to kill with poisoned weaponry, so he should have just targeted them with small arms fire instead of with the big guns.
Plus lash is just evil.... so evil.
Yes as in the book.
And get dem Dragons out of dem Falcons! Downright embarisin sometimes.
I didn't get the sense that the DE were castling up, I got the sense that they were trying to stay in the 30-36" range band at least until the marines were de-meched. In a dawn of war or pitched battle deployment, that wouldn't work, since the marines would be starting 18-24" away from the elves, but spearhead favors long range shooting and mobility...and the DE have both in greater measure than the marines do. Pointing both voidravens at the land raider should (four S9 lances? Think four lascannons shooting the front armor of a chimera...) put an end to the land raider on turn one, and it goes downhill from there...
IG since 1999 __ DA since 2002 __ Tau since 2005 __ SoB since 2007
Brets 1997-1999 __ TK since 2009 __ Empire since 2010
Sure, they have superior long range guns and mobility, but I dont think they have the anti-tank to take down those tanks. They will fall but it will be close.

The csm have more kp's to lose. Some are tough as old boots, some are fragile.
What will be disastrous for the DE will be the 2x lash of submission followed up with Vindicator Templates of doom (and most likely no cover / charged remnants)
Adeptus Mechanicus Marines: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1655065
CSM will win this one.
Armor, terminators doesnt fall that easily, but they can rock the DE boats bad.
It will be close, but in the end more CSM will be standing then DE
CSM for the reasons that milk guy said
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
