This is a Annihilation match, deployment type Spearhead. Guardians of Faith deploy and go first.
Guardians of Faith
“Belical” Grand Master w/ psychic hood,
“the stormbanes”. 7 grey knight terminators, incinerator
"Inquisitor Zept" w/ bolt pistol, targeter, 3 heavy bolter servitors
“The unseen” Vindicare assassin
“Genehunters” 5 inquisitorial stormtroopers w/ 2 meltas, “the fire magnet” rhino w/ smoke launchers, extra armour
“The forgottens” 5 inquisitorial stormtroopers w/ 2 meltas, “the silent ride” rhino w/ smoke launchers, extra armour
“The Faith bearers” 10 grey knights w/ 2 incinerators, “The unstoppable” Land raider
“Shield of the emperor” Land raider crusader
“Ancient brother Morakan” Grey knight dreadnought w/ twin linked lascannon
“Venerable brother Aladir” Grey knight dreadnought w/ twin linked lascannon
I will deploy close to my board edge to get as many round of shooting as possible before he comes. my two land raiders will create a wall with the rhinos and dreadnougts behind them. the vindicare and inquistor will sit in a piece of terrain to get a good view over the battle field. every unit will start inside a transport.
I will sit back and take out his land raiders on by one. the raider where Kharn is will be my first target and then the one with combi-melta terminators (if they don't deep strike) even my vindicare can take out a land raider with the turbo-penetrator round. as soon as something cracks open the inqusitor can start pounding shots in the unit. and the vindicare will take out the champions and chainfist guys. if he decide to deep strike the terminators my grand master and retinue will show them who is the most badass terminators here.
Harvesters of Khorne
Kharn the Betrayer
"The Doombringers" 5 terminators, mark of khorne, 4 with combi-meltas, 1 champion with chainfist and heavy flamer: 230
"Rancid Apathy" Land Raider Designated Transport, daemonic possession
"The Scorned" 5 terminators, mark of khorne, 4 champions with dual lightning claws, 1 regular terminator with chainfist and heavy flamer
"Cacophonous Tranquility" Land Raider Designated Transport, daemonic possession
"The Reapers" 8 berzerkers, skull champion with fist
"The Unrepentent" 7 berzerkers
"Dulled Transcendence" Land Raider w/ daemonic posession
"Furious Absolution" Land Raider w/ daemonic posession
This list makes deployment rather easy. Everything goes in a Land Raider, and Kharn deploys with the squad of 7. The Land Raiders are deployed back as far as possible with good lines of sight.
For the first turns, the land raiders are going to sit tight and shoot at anything in sight unless it is also a land raider. Highest priority goes to the stormtrooper's rhinos and the dreads, the 4 of which are the only things that can hurt my raiders and are all av12, providing easy kill points. If and when Belical's raiders approach, Kharn + co. will pop out assault one while the melta + chainfist termies pop the other. The other two units of in raiders join in on the assault the next turn. Blood for the Blood God!
Vote closes on Friday 18th of March at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
Hmmm...both sides sitting back and sniping at each other's land raiders, neither willing to close with the enemy. I guess in that case, I have to go with the side that has more lascannons to play with: Chaos has four, all of them mars pattern, versus only two on the other side, one of which has no godhammers on it. And if the dreads step into LOS to shoot their lascannons, they're only AV12, and have been announced as high priority targets anyway!

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Although i feel it's not really in the spirit of the army, sitting back and wracking up KP's is just going to be vile for the 4x land raider CSM army.
The rather humble two rhino's and 2x dreads will just fall. horribly. there had best be some very good luck on the one non-crusader land raider's return fire, but "I wouldn't put money on that if I broke big dough."
my condolences Guardians, bad match up for the mission.

I can only echo the above, I guess the GK army expected the chaos army to rush in. Shame about those meltas but Chaos wins this.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Barring some very lucky rolls at the beginning of the game, I would say that both the firepower and assault capabilities of the Chaos side win out. Blood for the Blood God, brother.
Honestly I think both lists and tactics are sub-par, but given the tactics...which are basically the same. One has more guns than the other... Chaos
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
Those raiders are hard to kill ya know.
Yes as in the book.
And get dem Dragons out of dem Falcons! Downright embarisin sometimes.

Good balance of firepower and CC, with all those LR's you have to expect that this game is going to get up close and personal. Chaos have 1 less KP available and I think that this game could end up close enough that it will make a difference. 5 Stormtroopers in Rhinos seems like very easy targets to me and 4 kill points in turn 1 or 2.
Sit back and kill the raiders one by one? That's like Captain Ahab hunting the great white whale completely by himself, with a musket.
Each TL lascannon shot will probably hit, but you need a 5 for a glancing hit and a 6 for a penetrating hit. The odds of destroying a land raider is 1 in 18 for each hit. Needless to say, none of those land raiders are dying quickly.
I have a feeling that both sides are going to eventually realize this, and begin to close the distance between them at some point. Assuming this is the case, I have to give the edge to the Grey Knights since they have more meltas, and the Choas meltas are only 1-shot combi-weapons. It'll be a close fight, but I think it'll end this way.
Also, why are people saying that the Grey Knights only have 2 units with lascannons? I count 3: 2 dreads, and 1 normal non-crusader land raider.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
If it goes as the tactics say (both sitting back and shooting) then I agree, give it to the guy with more long range guns.
