Going first, Canoness Elizabetta deploys centre of the board to limit enemy deployment (few inches back to avoid being charged). Rest of the force comes in on first turn, near centre of board. Exorcists across from Ravagers and Raiders with Wracks. Immolators and Rhinos deploy in two Formations (Rhino on left and right, Immolator in the middle slightly ahead to give obscured and maximise Smoke Launchers (SL). Hiding behind each Formation, deploy either the other Canoness or a unit of Seraphim to lock units in combat. Formations in front of Exorcists, obscured and still shoot (barrel(s) of gun).
Playing first, 11 faith, Canoness Elizabetta chainfists Raiders and Ravagers, draw out troops to be shot by Sisters, use SotM Act to tie up. Dies and +2 faith. Exorcists wreck 2/3 vehicles every turn. Formations drive-by melta vehicles or hop out and DG Act rapid fire and heavy flamer with whole Formation against infantry. Survivors are tied up by Seraphim/Canoness while Formation embarks again. Repeat.
SL, SotM Act to tie up, and maintain Combat Speed to minimise my losses. After first three turns, most or all vehicles wrecked, foot troops still alive will be hit hard by Formations and Exorcists.

Vote closes on Friday 18th of March at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
Gah. I'm not overly familiar with either Codex. First turn and Night Fight will let a lot of Battle Sisters get into midfield and Exorcists will pretty much kill a vehicle a turn. Edging to Witch Hunters.
If deployment or tactics were there it would settle things. Im leaning to the Dark Eldar. But its so close. I think the list could beat the sister's list but its hard to do so with no tactics Either way im supporting Dark Eldar here.

Witch hunters, night fight will let all those horrible sisters get too close to the DE.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
With first turn and dawn of war, the entire sisters force reaches the centerline unmolested and pops smoke there on turn two, except for the exorcists, which start taking down skimmers on turn two...With D6 AP S8AP1 shots appiece against open-topped AV10/11 vehicles, it's virtually point-and-click, even against a 5+ invulnerable save...and with three of them, it'll be virtually impossible to hide. The bottom of turn three is the first time the eldar get to shoot at unobscured sisters vehicles...that's after 6D6 exorcist missiles go crashing in on them, not to mention the rhino rush arriving on turn three, along with the invulnerable save jump-packers.
I think the skimmers go down early, and then the heavy flamers go to work...Going first in Dawn of War delivers this one to the Sororitas on a silver platter.
/edit/You mean rolling 3D6, removing the lowest, and then multiplying by 3 to get how far they can see? That's hardly "a turn of unmolested shooting at whatever they want". The average yield of that roll is going to be about 27" (as opposed to 21" for anyone else)...which is hardly "auto-see-it," since the closest a sororitas vehicle will be at that point is 24", and that's if both shooter and target made a 12" move directly across from one another on turn one. And only one DE vehicle is going to be that close to a given sisters vehicle. The rest can't get that close because the aforementioned one is in the way! On top of that, the exorcists aren't seriously threatened because they won't have moved more than is necessary to get on the board, so they're over 30" away from the closest a skimmer can get and still shoot (I assume they can move 12" and still shoot everything?). So, yeah, per rhino/immo, you can probably get one raider/ravager around 24" away, where it has a greater than 50% chance of seeing its target. Say 4 of 6 are seen. If it's a ravager that sees them, they're about as dead as a skimmer is when an exorcist draws a bead on them. Since there are three ravagers, of course they'll be among the six skimmers set up to have the best chance to see...so say two of them are able to see and each takes down a transport. The other two that are seen, say one by a single raider, the other by two raiders, for a total of three dark lances that can see (makes the next step easy)...at BS4, two of them hit....3 to glance, say one pen? Your "turn of unmolested shooting" probably results in at least two, but unlikely more than three of the six enemy transports being disabled, if not destroyed.his entire list including vehicles have night fight special rule.
Hmm...nobody has really talked about KP, which is odd since this is an annihilation mission. By my count, each side has 18KP...The six rhino chassis on one side versus nine light skimmers on the other seems to give the sisters an edge, since neither a rhino nor a raider/ravager (*yes, with a 5++, but against that you have AV1 weaponry shooting open topped vehicles on the other team) is particularly hard to kill. Also, the sisters have the ability to give at-risk infantry kill points a NICE invulnerable save (equal to armor save) via Spirit of the Martyr, so remnant squads of 2-4 won't be easy prey as they would in any other MEQ army...
Another thought...when those Ap1 weapons penetrate open topped vehicles...they explode on 4+...which is pretty nasty when they're full of T3 models with 5+, 6+, and - saves! That's (quick mental calculation) an average of 3 dead eldar right off the top each time a raider goes down... I also just noticed that the sisters have XA on their transports...which helps them survive turn two shooting.

edit: Just noticed the DE have no deployment or tactics, not sure how I missed that. If you have no tactics, then how are you going to win.

It's going to be a close one, but I'm going to have to give this to the Sisters. The key is for them to get to mid-field relatively unscathed, and I believe they will be able to do that thanks to night-fight 1st turn and going first (thus ensuring that they can pop smoke on turn 2). I play against sisters a lot (12 vehicles at 2K) and they are damn survivable if done right, with front vehicles popping smoke and giving cover to trailing vehicles. Then you've got stubborn sisters who are highly survivable with 3+ armor saves that may become 3++ invuln saves with Spirit of the Matyr.
Granted, DE has the firepower to deal with the sisters...if only they had 1st turn. Unfortunately, in this game, 1st turn will determine the victor.
