Deployment: Pitched Battle
Guardians of Faith deploy in the top half but Spear of Acta seize the initiative!
Guardians of Faith
“Belical” Grand Master w/ psychic hood,
“the stormbanes”. 7 grey knight terminators, incinerator
"Inquisitor Zept" w/ bolt pistol, targeter, 3 heavy bolter servitors
“The unseen” Vindicare assassin
“Genehunters” 5 inquisitorial stormtroopers w/ 2 meltas, “the fire magnet” rhino w/ smoke launchers, extra armour
“The forgottens” 5 inquisitorial stormtroopers w/ 2 meltas, “the silent ride” rhino w/ smoke launchers, extra armour
“The Faith bearers” 10 grey knights w/ 2 incinerators, “The unstoppable” Land raider
“Shield of the emperor” Land raider crusader
“Ancient brother Morakan” Grey knight dreadnought w/ twin linked lascannon
“Venerable brother Aladir” Grey knight dreadnought w/ twin linked lascannon
The land raiders will deploy 12” in beside the building in the left corner. The rhinos will deploy behind the raiders so they can get cover. The inquisitor is deployed in the area terrain in the left corner. Dreadnoughts try to hide behind the left building and the vindicare infiltrates into it.
spear of Acta has a lot of anti-tank that I will have to deal with. The plan is to get my meltas in range and kill stuff with the terminators. My lascannons will try to deal with the vindicators. My vindicare is just going to shoot up some tanks while the inquisitor and servitors will be focusing on the land speeders of any troops that has get there transport blown up. The land raiders will provide the rhinos with cover as long as possible and then just hope that I can take out some lascannons or demolisher cannons before he manage to penetrate the sacred hulls of the land raiders. For the Emperor!

Vote closes on Friday the 6th of May at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
If no tactics have been submitted, please assume average skill level for that player.
Hmmm...four godhammers on one side would certainly seem like it should have an impact against vindicators and razorbacks on the other side. Unfortunately, two of the godhammers are mounted on AV12 platforms. There's also the vindicare assassin, but unless the new codex is in play, he's only got one turbo-penetrator round, so he's nearly useless, and the predators will probably make short work of him in any case. Spear of Acta, on the other hand, has five lascannons, albiet not twinlinked, and three demolisher cannons to work with. If three vindicators shoot at one land raider, I can't see more than one template scattering off, and TWO of those shells hitting a land raider is devastating enough...and at the same time, pretty much everything in the BA list can hurt the dreadnoughts...
Because I can't see how the guardians of faith keep their lascannon platforms alive, especially going second, I vote for Spear of Acta.

The BA just have to many things coming at you. Between all those long range anti-tank weapons, and the 12" move while retaining fire from the Razorbacks, He is going to be in your face turn 2-3 and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. As much as I hate voting for someone who didn't submit any tactics (Just because I like to read what other are going to do, I hate assuming), I am going to have to go with the Spear of Acta
The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
New codex with anti tank options beats old codex with next to none. First turn i would imagine most of the GK army going pop, those rhinos and dreads are gone even with cover and i would imagine one of the raiders is too. And theres no way back from there. BA
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
Hmm...although the BA are definitely a more well rounded army, based on the GK tactics, I just think the GK's kill points are going to be a lot harder to get. With an over surplus of kill points that can be shot down by lascannons, I have to give this one to the GK.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
GK, superior long-ranged firepower (that's, what? 4 units blasting away with lascannons?) against "average skill" razorback BA. Razorbacks are easy KPs and once they're popped the Heavy Bolters and Assassin can get to work. I actually think the new and improved marines will be crushed by the seniors! The player is aware of the anti-tank that he's facing, which is important to note.
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
Guardians / GK as i'm seeing a lot of "average skill" i'd do this and i'd do that - yeah, you would after blind deployment. They did it, i like it, they've got my vote
I reckon spear would have it if decently done, but they didn't submit.
??? Meanwhile the GK army gets blown away by Razors, Baals and Typhoons (no you can't shoot Typhoons with Heavy Bolters, the Typhoons will be on the board edge and can redeploy fast). Hunter Killer Missiles and Lascannons should silence the GK Dreads first turn. The Baals have a quite high probability of immobilizing a Landraider, but even if the contents do get near, they will be unsupported and shot to death (las/plas Razorbacks have 3 AP2 shots ready to deliver at closing Terminators). My lascannons will try to deal with the vindicators.
I hinted at it before, but now I'm just going to say it outright. The Guardians of Faith's list is illegal. They have 4 heavy support choices with 2 LR's and 2 dreads.
And even if their list was legal, I'd still give this to BA. Daemonhunters really cannot handle mech-MSU.

Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
While I don't own a GK codex, and recognise jy2 hasn't taken months/a year off the hobby like i did and has his finger on the pulse more than me,
Isn't one of the Lr's a dedicated transport? Can't grey knight troops get one in the new dex? The inquisitor used to be able to in the old one, but i reckon it can go in there legally
