Vote closes on Friday the 20th of May at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
If no tactics have been submitted, please assume average skill level for that player.
No T/D equals less thought. Less thought means good I guess -pulls beer from fridge- But I do hate it when you commit and don't participate (Yeah, hypocrite with my zombies in the fantasy VW, but that was to fill numbers and get a few laughs mostly), also it means a lot of second-guessing and assuming...
Regardless, voting. Reasonably similar lists, and both would be pushing for similar victories... Who can rid the others of their transports first and then leave them vulnerable to fire is the question that it boils down to. Reading the lists, I'm giving this to the Blood Angels. Lascannons trump Autocannons here, both have Typhoon missiles, and then the Baal's and the Vindicators can get to work. Huh, guess that involved less thought than I first imagined.
Edit: Oh damn, I clearly wasn't reading this right. Why the hell did I not look at anything else other than the Pred's? That should be "More Lascannons and range trump less and shorter range" My excuses: Came home after partying and it was 1 in the morning. BT

If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
Well... at least "I vote against player X because he didn't submit tactics" won't apply here...
CG, I think you're overlooking the four tank hunting CMLs, and comparing the autocannons to lascannons is a mistake, they should be compared to the twinlinked assault cannons. As far as lascannons go...the BT have eight (not counting the "effectively lascannons" tank hunting CMLs) to the BA's five...and four of them are twinlinked! BT have enough of an AT advantage to overcome the fact that the BA get to shoot first (on turn two)...and if the BA rush upfield too agressively, they could give BT the first shot instead (not counting on that, just considering it possible)...on top of that, the termies can drop in behind the enemy and pummel them with S9 missile fire from outside vindie range (if the vindicators are even still alive when they arrive). Also, considering that the BTs' antitank platforms are balanced between infantry and vehicles (and also spread across a greater number of discrete targets), an alpha strike by the BA to cripple the BT antitank capability is impossible.

I'm with Marnepup here- he covered all the points, the BT have superior shooting for the anti-tan, the BA will just be out gunned.

Capture and control typically are hard to "win". With no decisive tactics to really promote 1 list over the other, and no really strong "this is why I feel this list OBLITERATES that list" I don't feel decisive enough to make the call.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
This is another tough one and will probably be a tough battle as well. BT has fire superiority here. However, BA firepower is no slouch and they have the better mobility. They also have better resiliency thanks to cover from Shield of Sanguinius as well as an AV13 wall of tanks up front. Both land speeder typhoons on either side will probably get shot down so they will be a wash.
In this case, I think mobility and resiliency (backed by good firepower) will trump great firepower. Why? Because this is an objectives mission and BA has enough fast tanks that some of them should make it alive to contest BT objective. Also, BT has stagnant firepower in that their 5-man lascannon squads will be holed down in some type of cover. Their attempt to contest with 6" moving razorbacks with no guys inside will be weak. On the other hand, BA will have razorbacks behind their AV13 tanks, all moving towards the enemy objective at 12" and firing. If BT should pop a razorback, the squad inside can still try to contest. But when BA pop the BT transports, there will be no one inside.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Yeah, DRAW capture and control isn't helping. BA I'd say have the slight edge for objective grabbing, but go first - to be knocked off in the last turn should they succeed.

I agree with Jy2. Sheild is going to come in handy in a big way, and smoke can always be used to nulify a lot of the initial BT attack. Those termies wont last long under vindicator fire, and I think the BA have enough resilancy to return fire effectivly enough to cause enough damage to win.
