Deploy 6" from my back corner with the spread out at the front, the razorbacks behind them and to the side and the land speeders filling the gaps behind and to the side.
general tactics are to use my (longer reaching) firepower and mobility to stop him from closing, and to not allow him to bring all his firepower to bear.
Land speeders generally go after the most imminent threat and/or tanks not in cover. Target priority: Bikes---> Razorbacks----> vindicators----> Land Raider >.< Speeders priority is to keep distance and make a play turn 4-5 at his objectives, contesting them. Razorbacks go after bikes and other razorbacks, but again, keep mobile and out of his melta range. Vindicators go after the bikes, infantry and razorbacks, but still keeps distance until later turns.
Hopefully I end with 2 contested objectives (landspeeders) and 1 held by me.(razorbacks backed with vindies)

Will deploy the vindicators as far to the left of my deployment as possible, land raider will be put down the hill so it can quickly go through the ruins, keeping cover is possible, only to go out in the open and onwards to the enemy lines.
Razorbacks will deploy on the right side of that hill, most likely utilizing their fast engines to move into possition in the first round, unless he made it close.
Two razorbacks will go to the right side of the ruins, trying to snipe the land speeders if they can, but mostly trying to be safe for some last turn contesting/capturing objectives. The other two razorbacks with the priests inside will zoom towards the land raider to provide blood chalice bubble to the terminators and the bikes. The Librarian will try to hold shield of sanguinius up at all times, so if we get out of cover, i atleast get that cover save.
My bikes will probably die quite fast to all those assault cannons so they will hug cover (probably behind my tanks) And then move out when they can to pop those vindicators.
Vindicators and land raiders will go on the left side of the building, vindicators will if they aint in range use the land raider as cover. And they will all move towards the enemy lines bringin down the hurt.
Vote closes on Friday the 20th of May at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
If no tactics have been submitted, please assume average skill level for that player.
3 Objectives, 4 Scoring Units... This is just going to be Razorbacks running into each other isn't it? lol
Alrighty, looks to me as if Blood Angels have this one. Land Raider is going to be far too hard to wreck, and that tends to mean it ends up as a big, scary and very tough thing, attracting lots of fire that will be unlikely to wreck it. Distracted by the Raider, Bikes and Razorbacks are going to have an easier time and the enemy will be too divided, too scattered to regroup and hit back. Just not feeling it.
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
He has the target priority well thought and his tactics just seem to be better in my eyes.

Seeing as the lists are quiet similar, I think really this comes down to this:
Do 9 Landspeeders, Assault cannons instead of Heavy Bolters and a detailed target prioritorty plan beat attack bikes, a land raider, termies and some PF sargents?
For me, yes they do, with a lot of credit to the target prioritory. Rovens fist
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
Anyway, it seems like both sides have four min-sized scoring units in transports, so that's a push. Both sides have three vindies...nother push. RF has 9 typhoons to CR's 4 multimelta bikes, advantage RF...RF has assault cannons against heavy boltersantage RF, adv...CR has mechanized termies, big advantage CR. So the question becomes, what's the greater edge, the firepower of RF, or the unkillability of CF's mounted termies? Putting the bikes first in target priority is the answer for me. Even turbo-boosting, they won't survive long enough to attack, shifting the firepower advantage even more in RF's favor. If the termies dismount, they can maul one squad before dying to a torrent, and they (with the land raider) can only be in one place at once. RF can safely ignore the land raider, which seems to be his plan, and has enough firepower to see the rest off...worst case, three speeder squadrons ensure that he can contest anything that CF survives to claim...but with two bike squadrons, four razors, and three vindes as targets, I don't think it'll come to that.
IG since 1999 __ DA since 2002 __ Tau since 2005 __ SoB since 2007
Brets 1997-1999 __ TK since 2009 __ Empire since 2010
with more or less equal scoring units what it comes down too is do 9 landspeeders beat 4 attack bikes and a raider mounted deathstar unit.
in my opinion it does because with first turn attack bikes and 2/3 razorbacks die. after that if the marines can kill the rest of the scoring units and 2 vindicators( this shouldn't be overly difficult) they will hold 1 while BA won't be able to hold 1 due to all their scoring units dying turn 1/2.
for these reasonsSM should win.
See above. I can't think of anything witty or funny to say and all the tactical points are covered.
9x LS Typhoons = cheese. But effective cheese.
