The swarmlord goes centerally, up towards the statue, guant brood either side spread out to avoid the missles. Tervigons behind guant broods. A Hive guard brood goes to each flank, and the 3rd central behind the swarmlord. Harpies hide behind tervigons and terrain for cover, whilst genestealers inflitrate behind the tower.
Swarmlord moves up through the statue area, to keep cover and deter any DE push towards that objective at first. His target will be the incubii + archon or the grotesques, which would suffer instant death. Paroxism will be used on the incubii, with leech essence being used to regain some wounds suffered. With those taken out, hell attempt to destroy anything on DE objectives, using leech essence twice for 2d3 S3 AP2 shots that regain wounds.
Harpies shoot the voidravens, damaging them. When theyre down, they shoot the ravager, then troop raiders. Hive guard will advance, keeping cover where possible and targeting the raiders of Incubii>Grotesques>warriors>wracks.
Tervigons and guants advance on other objectives and any exposed DE troops, with FnP on guants. Preferd enemy will be given to assaulting guants. Tervigons spawn as many guants as they can, which head back and claim the home objectives, staying in cover and going to ground. First one to expire heads back to secure the objective.
Genestealers spring an assault on the first unit of exposed troops, then return to an objective.
Vote closes on Friday the 10th of June at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
If no tactics have been submitted, please assume average skill level for that player.
Trannids while liquifier guns and shattershard will cut through swaves of guants, hive guard will rip up raiders and with no DE plan on how to deal with them it tips the balance in favor of tyrannids.
The Nids seem to have a plan... The DE fragility (in comparison to the gribblies anyway), will mean that they are left struggling in holding and defending objectives. Meaning that they are likely hoping for a 5th turn objective grab... but they're going first. The high toughness Hive Guard are going to be really difficult to shift (even with factoring in poison). Harpies are going to romper stomp their way through a lot of that DE.
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
If DE submitted tactics, I could have seen this go their way, but as it stands their average tactics would mean average decision making and target priority which will get picked apart by this nid list.
Plenty of cover for tyranids, first turn for DE which means no last turn objective-contests, plenty of shooting to take out DE transports and sound tactics by tyranids all lead to a tyranid victory.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Nids. Hiveguard should have the DE demeched by the end of the game and there is no way the DE can stop objectives being contested.
With average tactics on both sides, I would have voted for DE, but the Nids tactics is well above average, and get them the win.
