Game Type: Capture and Control, Pitched Battle
Any unit that cannot regroup are now small enough to hide (i.e. immediately destroyed). Otherwise they cannot move off the table and so will hang around until they rally. Walls and pillars are solid, 12" high and nothing can park on them - but barrage can fire over everything.
LX7x10 Harbringers of Shadow deploy in the top half but Roeven's Fist seize the initiative!

Vote closes on Tuesday the 21st of June at 1800 PM. Votes as usual must be in bold, and posted along with a reason. It doesn't have to be good mind you, just written down. Crap reasons will have no negative repercussions aside from your peers thinking you are an idiot.
If no tactics have been submitted, please assume average skill level for that player.
I've heard there have been some rulings and such (and I don't use any rending so I haven't kept up). Do assault cannons rending work on monoliths? I'm thinking no.
If that's the case, I could see giving it to LX7x10 Harbringers of Shadow for once. Especially since there isn't room to run around the necrons, so they can move in their favority phalanx style using res orbs and the monolith regens on everything.
Though this could very easily be a draw....
I can't agree with you less. The SM firepower seems tailored to kill necrons. As soon as the Destroyers show their heads they will be blasted by Typhoons and S10 pie plates. Nothing in the Necron army can effectively hurt the SM, and the Necrons will certainly not be putting pressure on the SM deployment zone.
Map like this, were DSing is near-suicidal. I have to give it to the Marines. Vindicators are actually good at taking down 'Liths. Even if they do scatter, it's often so that they're still over the building/monstrosity. Even average players know that that's the best thing to take them out, and so will fire everything on those two.
Rest of the 'Cron force, will struggle/fail against the marines, with plenty of firepower coming their way... and fast.
If someone helps you, rep them.
In a votewar you don't vote on a single match, you vote on the entire round. Got that?
I'm all for giving the Necrons the benefit of the doubt, as I've seen them work very well with the right tactics, but the marines are seriously going to bring the pain with all that firepower, which is indeed perfect for killing necron warriors.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
Too much nasty firepower, and the crons cant get to the marine objective.
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
With t/d I could have given this to Necrons. Throw those Monoliths out front and have them block two lanes, march behind them and get into range and just decimate everything, get your destroyers on those vindictors early. But alas they didn't submit t/d.
Capn'ctrl, no t/d, Old codex, gives the advantage to SM
Whoa....did I just vote for necrons? I think I did....I did, I DID!!!
You can thank the map for that. Necrons stay protected due to LOS-blocking terrain. They just need to prevent marines from getting to their objective and deepstrike a monolith onto the marines' objective.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
The Vindicators would be pieing the Necrons-at S10. Then the Marines will just have to clean up survivors.
