    Hmm.

I'd say that the Space Wolves probably have it.

While the 2 fexes are pretty dangerous, the wolves have greater chance of getting a decent charge in (by feeding a fex a squad of Grey Hunters). 8 (I think?) Power Fist attacks, plus those from the Wolf Guard, has a fairly good chance of killing them outright, and would certainly finish them off in the second round. Add in the second squad of Blood Claws and you can pretty much write off the fexes as a problem.

The fact that the Tyrant can't fly also tips it in the wolves direction, because again, the wolves can determine when and where it will get into CC.

Regarding mission, I don't really think that it will have too much of an effect on the actual gameplay, although it could possibly swing it even further in the wolves direction, because they have so many more scoring units.

Both interesting lists, but I definately think the wolves would have it.

    Space Wolves

While I believe any normal Space Marines list would have a terrible time against these Nids, the Space Wolves pack enough powerfists to seriously harm those MCs. The 'Nids will be closing with the Wolves, and they can simply use the two Plasma squads to absorb any forthcoming charge. Then they counter charge with the 'Fists. While the Carnifexes will do some damage, they can't do enough damage to remove three Powerfists from a squad before succumbing to them.

-while the MC's are good, they are beat by plasma/melta and all the powerfists

Unfortunally for the Nids, the Carnifex's and Hive Tyrant will die easily to the powerfists, and that's pretty much all she wrote. Space Wolves

That many powerfists will spell death to the carnifexes, and that will ensure the death of the nids.

    I vote Space Wolves

If all 3 TMCs charged a Blood Claws pack they would probably do.

    Carnifex's
    3+D6 attacks each, 13 Attacks.
Toxic miasma means thier hitting on a3+
    8.66' hit.
    2+ to wound
    7.2 dead.

    Hive Tyrant.
    5 Attacks
    3 Hit, 3 dead.

    Total of 10 Dead.

This leaves only the Wolf Guard who will most likely be at -1 Attack after counter attacking against the Hive Tyrant.
2 wounds on the Tyrant or 1 on a Fex.
Then he's taking a Ld test with some serious modifiers/extra wounds for Know no fear.

If the Other Squad goes in against a Fex,
    8 Powerfist attacks (BC's), 4 Hit, 2.666' wounds.
Wolf Guard, 5 Attacks, 2.5 hit, 1.66 wounds.
Total of 4 wounds. Say the first WG took a wound off the Fex. Its Dead. (unless it got a 6 on 4 dice to regenerate)

The the Fex/HT go in on the Last BC squad. The BC's are hitting the HT on a 5+ while the Fex is alive and off the charge the BC are going to have a Hard time Killing a HT and Fex. Especialy while being Lash whipped.

    So Tyranids could win.

However this presumes that just because the Nids have more dice and re-rolls through cover that they are going to be faster. A silly prediction.

It also presumes that the GH Plasma is going to be pretty insignificant either shooting T7 cover save monstrosities. Or not shooting at all due to the slight prevalence of Jungle Terrain.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!

With their powerfists the SW are able to beat the Fexes, the 'Nid hard-card.

    I vote Space Wolves.
