sweet, I've been waiting for a campaign, any rules we should be aware of other than just signing up?

4 Days... Plenty of time to paint your wagons red, clean out your pulse rifles or pray to whatever favorite tentacly deity you have that will undoubtedly swallow your soul if you fail.

We of the campaign org suggest you find fellow faction members here on LO and spread the word. The campaign does not reward Factions for being large but there are some things that will be harder to do depending on who you get to play against so there is a point in having many opponents. Like all double axes this will swing both ways. A small faction will be protected against some other factions because they do not "touch base" on the other hand you can't beat up on those same factions either. So get your faction together and get planning.

You can play any legal point size from any legal codex. You can play standard missions from the core rule book, Cities of death and Apocalypse. Apocalyptic battles will be worth more campaign victory points than smaller games so if you can get a few massive games it won't be a waste of precious battle time during the 5 week long slaughter. In the end there will be only one faction atop the mountain of corpses. Staying on top is up to you.

Full campaign instructions will be posted on the 10:th.

Oh out of interest will Battle Fleet Gothic/Epic games count?

Just wondering from a fluff point of view whether I should include the actions of the Imperial Navy et al.

That would be cool, or if it had an impact in some diffrent way for BFG as its diffrent from land battles.

A: BFG battles are included in the campaign but only on request. send a PM to Lost or Me for approval and provide some details regarding factions used and force composition.

Q? Do you have special rules for apocalypse?
A: Yes. But if you wan't to play as is then go ahead. If you want special rules or maybe even a special scenario just PM Lost Nemesis or Process a day or two in advance and we will provide you with apocalyptic scenarios such as:

Grind House (and it's not the movies...)
Carnal Forge (and there is a soundtrack too)
Atrition (good old fashion trench warfare)
Hill 247 (if your on it you are not going to like it)
Dead mans land (zombiefest 40000 )
T-20 and counting. (dooming ancient devices of doom)
