My friend and I had a little argument so I was going to ask GW but I thought I should ask here first....
Would he be able to use his regular save(3+) and then his invunerable save (4+) I think that was his stealth team for Tau that we argued about. I was just curious. Could I also have a page reference so I could show him please?
The answer is no. It would make units too tough, like termies getting 3 saves if they are in cover. We'd start seeing ap2 flamers everywhere.
Turtles For the Turtle God!
Shells For the Shell Throne!
alright, thanks alot
I know that this has already been answered but the key here is that “models only get to use one save per attack.”
The inclusion of an invulnerable save means that you get choice in picking which save to use for a particular situation.
If the standard armour save works better for you then you use that or if the armour is going to be defeated by an attack regardless then you can fall back on the invulnerable, but you still have to pick which save to use before actually claiming its use.
In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
