when units is in a bunker forest jungle etc are how is the cover save affecting them i don't  :a  get it
well firstly this should probably be in the rules section. But since you are a noob, I will answer the question, In general, you get a 4+ cover save from fortifications and well built bunkers, a 5+ from ruins and not very good bunkers and 6+ from jungle, fences etc.
Remember, jungles affect line of how far you can see your opponent. Read your rulebook for more info.
hoped this helped!
Try reading the BBB, the rules are blatantly easy to comprehend.
Also read the post "How to write like a wanker" in the n00b forum, you may find it enlightening.

BorninDarkness is friendly as ever , so to be a bit more specific:
Cover saves can be found on pages 54-55 in the main rulebook (aka Big Black Book, BB.
Dave-o wasn't completely correct in the types of cover saves, so remember to check the Cover Summary Table on page 55. You too,dave-o!
"The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."
Make sure you define what areas of the battlefield will give you what cover saves BEFORE the battle begins.
This should stop any arguments later.
We always just run through everything on the table and confirm what save it will confer and the height of it for line of sight etc.
