I have looked through my Apoc book and it seems to me that... I can place my entire army in Strategic Reserve is I wish.
Has anyone seen or read something that differs from this?
It just seems like there must be some level of mandatory deployment of some sort or the mobile/fast armies could very well have a hay day with this.
Nope, nothing wrong with that at all.
Combine it with the Strategic Asset that lets you enter from any table edge and watch your opponent cower.
Of course, you do essentially give your opponent an infinite time to deploy, as well as giving him complete control of any objectives on the table etc etc.
It's not quite as powerful as you might think, though it is by no means bad. Think about how a Marine drop pod army works, you always get the first turn shooting, but your forces are going to get a pounding from anything that survives...
