I read that you can transport Allies in your vehicles. What about transporting units that normally do not have the option of a transport? Such as taking a Thunderhawk and transporting Seraphim or Repentia to the battle?
I meant... that I remember that now in the back of the Apoc Book about how you can transport allies etc. I was thinking it was Carnies in an Ork transport but anyhow... ya... I guess that means anything goes!
Which means... I will be seeing a Thunderhawk at some point in my future so my wife has yet... another Super Heavy for her Sisters.

The Allies Matrix at the back of the book says what is generally accepted, what is possible and what is highly unlikely with regards to allies.
E.g IG and SM fighting Chaos is taken as read, no real story needed. Fire your Storm Troopers in a Rhino if you want.
SM and Eldar is a little bit more shakey, but they would probably team up against chaos or Orks for example. It would be kinda cool to see 5 marines jump out of a Falcon, provided a suitable story could be found.
SM and Tyranids on the same side is practically impossible, you'd need a pretty good story to put Tyranid Warriors in a Land Raider, or 20 Jump Pack Marines hanging off a Harridan.....but whatever, go for it if you either 1) don't give a monkeys about any sort of story or 2) are a fiction genius and can find a circumstance where such things could happen.
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
well, you can always have a couple of carnefexes, model them with collars around thier necks and chains(maybe even put a little name tag that says fluffy) and say they are held in captive as domesticated pets and let loose on the battlefield from thier thunderhawk cages.
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
Some of that ally matrix is a bit too cut and dry for me. For instance, I find the fluff of an SM / Tau temporary alliance to be easy to come up with, but would find it harder to swallow the SM / Necron alliance. But they're listed the same in the book. I would have liked to see more grays in a gray universe.
Gorgons would be awsome for tryanids and/or orks if you could fit them in some how!!!
dark eldar can't team up with dark eldar easily? err... what?
no body knows any fluff about us.. not even the designers
Dear Game Developer,Caps-Lock, its like cruise-control for AWESOMENESS!

WWP and other Dark Eldar how to
Tigurius made contact with the Nids and they were shocked to realize humans were sentient beings and not just cattle. Very apologetically, amidst the protest of many gaunts outside their capitol building, they allied up to eat the other races, which Tigurius deftly reassured them were NOT sentient at all.
There, carnifexes in thunderhawks explained!
