Hi my friewnd has a demon price (chaos) and its toughness is 5 (i think) so when i fire my vindicator demloisher cannon (strengh 10) if it wounds it, iyt would die right?
But he has added some upgrade which makes it toughness 6, but i read in chapter approved that for creatures that have more than one wound that you refer to the original toughness, so it should kill him straight away.
Please help because his demonn price is a pain (it is killing most of my marines) please help so i can know if i can kill it with the demolisher cannon.
you refer to the models origina toughness for instant kill purposes. the upgrade Daemonic stature permanently increases the models toughness to 5 and so you use this toughness for instant kill any other increases to toughness are null for instant kill.

Yeah your friend is cheating you if he uses T6 for his DP to calculate insta kill, in fact both of you should be wapped with the BBB for even asking this question (unless you are total newbies).

My elvish name is Maeglin Meneldur.
2xT hits are calculated using the original T of the model, UNLESS specifically stated otherwise by the rules of the wargear. Only example of this I know of, is the Destroyer body for the Necron Lord, which states that it "raises the Lord's toughness to 6, so he CAN'T be instantly killed by strength 10 weapons."
Daemonic Stature does the same thing.
